Ophelia POV
"That's all for today class! Please get that homework done before Monday, have a great weekend!" The teacher waved towards the students as the students said goodbye and got up to leave. I sat there and waited for everyone to leave, I pretend I was looking for my bus pass. After ten minutes, finally  the last two students leave, getting ready to leave I stand up and slowly put on my jacket zipping it up and putting my backpack on, I peaked my head out of the door and looked around to make sure no one was around and sped walk out the school doors. "Well well well. Would you look at miss crybaby!" Soojin. My ex best friend, when she found out me and my boyfriend were dating she stopped talking to me after that she made my life a living hell.

Flashback (2 years ago)
"I have something to tell you." I looked at my best friend as she was fixing her makeup, we stood in the corner of the hallway under the staircase as it is our favorite spot to gossip or get away from other students. "What is it?" She continued patting more foundation on her face I took a deep breath and opened my mouth to speak. "Ophelia!" I turned to see the most beautiful smile my eyes lit up as I stood up quickly towards the boy. "Daniel! What are you doing over here?" He giggled and looked at Soojin waving towards her she waved back blushing, of course I didn't notice. "I was gonna wait to give you this later but I couldn't hold my excitement so here!" I took the small box looking back up at him, he motioned me to go on and I opened the box to see a rose necklace. "Wow! This is beautiful." I gasped looking back at Daniel his smile got bigger and he placed his hands behind his back rocking back and forth on his feet. "Happy 6 months." He kissed my cheek quickly saying bye and running back towards his cheering friends. I stood there in shock and laughed to myself before I can turn back to Soojin, Daniel comes running back. "Wait let me put this on for you." I nodded and turned facing Soojin who had a certain look on her face she quickly looked down at her hands as Daniel put the necklace on. I then touched the necklace looking at it in the reflection on my phone I smiled and turned towards him. "This is perfect! Thank you." I smiled at him again and he let out a giggle and quickly ran away again I watched him jump up and down happily as his friends hyped him up. Soojin huffed and I turned towards her. "Is that what you wanted to tell me?" She said looking at me with a glare. "Uh yeah... I'm sorry it took long but we didn't want anyone to know since it was new." I bowed my head feeling bad. "Right. Well I'm gonna head to class, coming?" I nodded my head grabbing my stuff following her. "You're not mad?" She shook her head and silently walked. I smiled to myself, I have a perfect boyfriend the best of the best friend I could ever ask for and just a perfect life! Nothing can go wrong... as so I thought..
Flashback End

We ended up at the back of the school I was surrounded by Soojin  and her minions. "Thought you could get away? How's you and your little boyfriend? Oh wait... ex boyfriend sorry." I looked at her with confusion. Footsteps were heard as someone bumped into me making me fall down I looked up to see Daniel looking down at me his smile never once showed as he stood next to Soojin. I watched her pull him into a kiss and she pulls away smirking. "Taking back what was mine." She grabbed my collar as I glared at her. "Awe you're not gonna cry? You're no fun." She fake pout pushing me to the ground, I try to get up just to be pushed down. "Should we give you another matching black eye? Also this is mine." Soojin ripped the necklace off my neck holding it up to Daniel. "Put it on for me?" She batted her eyelashes at him as he just stared at her, walking up to me he grabbed my arm roughly making me stand to my feet. I winced in pain as he had a hard grip on my bruised arm. "Go before I get angry." He pushed me away and I grab my bag running away. "What the hell Daniel!" Soojin yelled, I never looked back and continued running home. Why did he let me run away? I have a bad feeling something is wrong. I shook my thoughts and continued running passing the bus station.

Breathing heavily I walked into the house to see kihyun watching tv. "Hey you're home late." I didn't get the chance to take the bus I was scared I was gonna bump into my classmates or worse Daniel or Soojin. "I'm sorry I forgot to text you I was staying after school to hang out with my friends for a bit." I lied once again. "Oh, how's Soojin doing?" He still thinks we are still friends although it's been 2 years and now she's my bully. "Oh she's doing fine, we haven't been talking lately." I slowly turned towards the stairs and quickly run up before Kihyun can say another word. I lay on my bed after taking everything off i stared at my ceiling touching my now bare neck. "Ex boyfriend. Why do you hate me Daniel?" I closed my eyes telling myself not to cry. "He's not worth it." A deep voice was heard in the corner of my room, I shot up and looked around eyes widening as I see a tall figure standing in the corner. "Who? Who are you!?" I grabbed the mirror that was on my bed holding it in front of me the only weapon to defend myself, the man chuckled stepping out of the corner I recognize him, the grey eyes and the white hair. His wings slowly flutter, I looked at him in shock I was about to yell for Kihyun. "No!" He roared.
