Chapter 12

"Why if she don't like me that way?"

"do you want her to?"

"maybe?"

"then that's good enough"

Jisoo fluttered open her eyes, it was dark and only the sound of the pouring rain is heard from the outside.

"where am i?" Jisoo asks herself

a bright flash of lighting lit up the room she was in and she had of glimpse of her surrounding, she was in her room.

She gathered all her strength to stand up and walk towards the her door

"unnie what happend?" she heard her sister asks

"s-she... s-she confessed to me. then she fainted"

she heard jennie answered

"she did?"

there was silence

"what did you say?"

"I-I... I couldn't answer"

a small pang of pain shot through Jisoo's heart. she was about to open the door but the next sentence came out from Jennies mouth made her stop

"i was too happy and excited that my mouth can't even make any words."

and ther goes again the flips that her heart does whenever Jennie is around. All her worries, all her fear slowly fading.

"you're so lovesick unnie" she heard her sister chuckled

"for her i am. always have been and always will be"

Jisoo didn't pay attention to what Jennie means, all she thinks is that the latter feels the same as her.

even though it's not necessary, but Jisoo made an effort to freshen herself and put some light make up. before going downstairs where her friends are talking

"oh unnie!" Chaeng called out that made Lisa and Jennie look at her

Jennie stood up and made her way to Jisoo.

"hey" the feline eyed woman called to her

"hey" she smiles as she looks at the shorter woman in front of her

"how are you feeling?" Jennie asks with a lot of concern in her voice

"i can walk and talk so, i think i'm perfectly fine" she jokes

"that's good then" jennie smiles

"okaaaayyy, i think this is the time where me and Lisa goes out no?" rosé comments and drags the complaining Lisa to the kitchen

the two older joined in a small laugh until jennie looks at Jisoo and took her hands and led her to the living room where they sat next to each other

"so, whats up?" jisoo asks

"i will get straight to the point. cause, i don't want to waste anymore time like i did before." Jennie starts

"You know how terrified i am of the sound of the thunder, but you choose to confess right when it was happening. I was so scared that i might get struck or both of us might. But then i looked into your eyes, and..." jennie paused before looking into Jisoo's eyes

"I'm not afraid anymore" she smiles

"when you told me you like me, it's like the sun came up again and light up the sky between us. I want to shout back at you and tell you i feel the same but i'm so shocked and i couldn't put words on how i am feeling towards you. i want to jump, i want to run around, i want to scream. I-i-i"
