Chapter 9

Third Person POV

“Thank you again and goodnight!" before Jennie could say anything Jisoo ran back to her door room and shut the door behind her.

‘why the hell did I do that?’

Jisoo puts her hand on her chest. Her heart was racing, She didn’t run that far  but her breaths are heavy. Her palms are sweating and her cheeks are turning pink as she thinks of kissing Jennies chubby cheeks. She was smiling creepily in the dark when the lights turned on and she saw a grinning Rosé

“tell me everything”

The next morning, Rosé and Jisoo decided to meet with Lisa as she asked them to have breakfast with her. The three of them are sitting beside the window on a nearby café and eating breakfast.

“Jisoo unnie, hows the date last night?” Lisa asked and Jisoo almost choke on her food

“date? What date?” she asked innocently

“ you know, that date with Jennie unnie?” she wiggled her eyebrows

Jisoo grunts “ it’s not a date okay? It’s- it’s more like a friendly dinner”

“so, the kiss on the cheeks is just a friendly gesture then?” Lisa smirks

This time Jisoo literally choked on her food.

“unnie are you okay?” Rosé immediately gave her a glass of water and Jisoo drank it in one go. Jisoo glared at Rosé

“why are you looking at me?” she asked

Lisa chuckled, “you two are not the only person last night at the dorms unnie” she winked

Jisoo cheeks turned red then a frown formed into her face

“wait, why are you on our dorm building?”

Lisa just smirked, and winked at Rosé

"I shouldn't have asked" Jisoo fake gagged

They spend their breakfast time bickering and teasing each other. Lisa always asking Jisoo about her date with Jennie and the older always find a way to dodge and change the subject.

When they arrived at the school, Jisoo and Rosé walked together to their class. A little early before everyone arrive, they sat on their favorite seats at the back.

“we will present our piece for the show later. Have you practiced yours yet?” Rosé asked

“I practiced it while in the shower. Does that count?”

“yeah, but you sang like a lot in the shower. Which one is your piece?”

“you just have to see” the older smiled

“yaaa, that’s not fair. I told you mine.” She whined

Jisoo chuckled, “yeah, but I didn’t asked you tho”

Rosé pouted she knew she can’t force her unnie to say it.

“your so unfair” she smiled

Their professor arrived and the class began. The day went by really fast, all of them are super busy to even meet up for lunch because of the preparations for the festival, except for the Football players. That afternoon, Lisa and Jennie decided to watch Rosé and Jisoos practice at the theater. They bought food and drinks for the two because they knew they haven’t eaten anything since the class ended.

The two of them entered the theater and saw Rosé singing on stage, she immediately saw the two and smiled

“haven’t done anything for you and I lack at times
But today, I’m singing this song for you
Tonight, behind your two eyes and that smile, I can see the pain you’re hiding from me”
