Three. Vision-death . v1

When a vision bearer dies, the vision they had dies with them.

This leaves behind a shell of who they once were. People are known to keep their passed love ones visions to keep them in their memory.

This goes the same for our beloved characters aswell. Archons are known to take the form of the people that had the most impact to them. Like Venti and the unknown bard.

Decades after we meet the characters. Their visions, like any other will meet the day where they run out of spark. They lose the life they once carried.

Zhongli is getting ready for another day in Ligue. He looks in the mirror, his now blue eyes trail down to the empty vision on his belt. It was once the property of someone he held dear.

It was funny, the God of Geo always gave these out. He was used to seeing empty visions. But he remembers the day he watched this one fade.

He was with Teucer then. Teucer was at the part of his life where he was trying to find ways to get his own vision. To be like his big brother. Childe left it with them saying it might spark something in Teucers head. He left for another day as a harbinger. Not knowing that then Teucer would watch the vision spark and flicker out.

He was right. It did ignite something in Teucer. He looked for his brother. Desperate to find Childe. In the midst of all the chaos and pain he felt, he was given his own vision. Teucer found his brother, lifeless on the ground. It was his delusion that led to his demise. A while after he was gifted with an electro vision.

Teucer doesn't like talking about when and how his vision was given to him. He and Zhongli made a contract. Zhongli would stay quiet and in return would get to keep Childe's empty vision.

Teucer moved back to Snezhnaya after that. And Zhongli never saw him again. He took up Childe's form and maybe its for the best that Teucer doesn't see him again. Zhongli was once again alone.

I will definitely be writing more versions of this vision-death thing. It was fun to right although it was very short.
