Me, myself and him

Chapter 2

I woke up with a pillow hitting my face. I groaned and was slowly waking up. As soon as my eyes open I see Jane and Jake standing in front of my bed with a tray and  presents in their hands.

"Good morning Em." Jane said. They both come to my sides and settle down. The tray balanced on my lap. They made me my favorite breakfast. Pancakes with strawberries and lots of honey poored over.

"Thanks guys but you didn't have to." I said while rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. They both handed me my presents.

First I opened up Jane's. It was a small box rapped in pink paper. As soon as I opened the little box's lit my eyes started watering.

It was a necklace with my name. It was in sliver and had little diamonds in the letters.

"It's so beautiful." I said with a smile. I gave her a big hug. This was the best gift I had ever received from anyone. She secretly knew that I wanted a necklace with my name on it and she did knew how to make me more then happy.

"Alright next is mine." Jake said. His gift was rapped in peace colour paper. It was a bigger box then Jane's. I slowly opened it up. It was a photo album. On the front was:My memories. In bold letters.

I opened up the book and the first page was us three sitting on a swingset. Smiling brightly at the camera. The next page was fulled with our dorky photos we took when we were like 12 - 14. And the third page was fulled with us at parties and with our schoolmates. But there were no more photos. I looked at Jake confused.

"Em I really wanted to fill up the book with our memories but I want you to fill up the book with new memories." Jake said with a small smile.

I almost tackled him of the bed but he was at least strong and stable. I hugged him tightly and soon Jane joined in on our hug. We both started crying in Jake's arms. Jake was just the one with no tears but there were sadness in his eyes.

"Alright. Em you need to eat and go get ready for your flight. Me and Jane will take care of your luggage." Jake said as soon as we parted.

Jane nodded in agreement and I quickly checked the time. It was 7 am and my flight leaves in a hour. I quickly rushed to the bathroom and quickly got in the shower. Afterwards I brushed my teeth and left my hair down to air dry. Thanks for Jane she brought me some fresh clothes while I was showering.

I was ready in less then 20 minutes. We did had enough time to get to the airport if we don't get stuck in traffic. Jake was driving me and Jane tagged along to say her final goodbeys.

We didn't get stuck in traffic and was right on time. Jake parked the car and we all hopped out and headed to the waiting area.

"Thank God we are on time." Jane said. We arrived and I got my ticket. We all sat down on the couches and was exhausted.

"I didn't knew I was so out of shape." I said while breathing heavy. Jake started laughing and soon Jane as well. I glared at both of them.

"Flight for California will start boarding in 5 minutes." The assistance announced.

We got up and both of them embraced me into a big hug.

"We are going to miss you Em." Jane cried. We parted a little.

"I am going to miss you guys a lot." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Em promise you will come vist us." Jake asked.

I hold out my two pinkies and both of them intertwin theirs with mine.

"I promise." I said afterwards.
