Antidote For Silence

Axl sat on a freezing cold bench, in the pouring rain. The rain drops must have felt ice falling down to the other people who were in the street, rushing for cover in the nearby shops and corners, the black night sky with clouds that were pouring their sorrow down on the sleepy little town Axl couldn't remember the name of. If he remembered the name of every town he ran to when he broke down, he could most likely draw an entire map of it.

This time though, the rain was numbing, and Axl didn't tear anything apart, he didn't tear a room apart and leave with a blaze of rage, no. Perhaps it was the worst way he had ever left, and that was in silence. No jacket, no umbrella to give him some cover from the rain that was already pouring down when he left.

Sometimes, it just got loud. The silence gets so loud that it covers the endless noise in Axl's head and somehow, it got even louder and was worse then all the noise. The silence was worse, because then the silence allowed him to get lost in his thoughts which wasn't always a good thing.

He wasn't exactly sure how saul delt with his outbursts half the time, let alone him leaving and not even saying where he was going, not even leaving any clue as to where he was. Yet somehow Saul always seemed to find him, no matter where he was. Which shouldn't surprise him but somehow still does when he sees the silhouette of his boyfriend came through the blackness of the night and went straight over to the bench he was on, a jacket with the smell of Sauls cologne was slung over his shoulders, the scent instantly washing some of the silence away from his head, The presence of Saul always did somehow.

Somehow saul always knew where to find him, even when the others didn't which is one of the reasons why Axl would fight tooth and nail for him, because no one treated Axl half as decent as saul did. No one cared enough to look for him besides Izzy.

But saul wouldn't ever not come looking for him, and maybe thats why the silence was more bearable with him around. The jacket made him finally look through the rain at saul who was walking to the other side of the bench and sitting down, right in a puddle of water that had collected on the seat, but he didn't even seem to notice as he looked right back into Axl's eyes, words that didn't need to be spoken innstead being said throught that gaze they both held only for eachother.

Saul grabs Axl's ice cold hand, immediately lacing their fingers together and axl relaxed, allowing his head to softly fall on saul's shoulder in exhaustion, a kiss being pressed into his wet hair. "Your never getting away from me that easy rose, you know this." came a soft voice next to axls ear, making a soft smile break out onto his face.

As the sun started to rise on the city, the rain letting up until finally there was only warmth felt on both of their faces, the sun drying the sorrows of the night, two words were spoken into the quietness of the dawn.

"I know."

The loudness finally ceased, causing Axl to smile.
