Lucy's P.O.V

"Another day of school~" I said as I stretched my arms while yawning. I was standing on a street , waiting for a taxi to come, pretty much tired out. I wanted to sleep more, or at least stay in the bath tub longer~
That's one of the things I hate about school, having to wake up and go to school early.

But there are things I love about the school I go to.

'Fairy tail Academy' is a school I've always wanted to go to since I was young. I heard that it was a high ranking school, which everyone in the school treats each other as friends. And now I'm here! It's already been a year since I joined, and I've made a lot of friends. The friends I hang out with the most - Levy Mc Garden (my ultimate bookworm buddy and BFF), Lissana Strauss, Erza Scarlet, Gray Fullbuster, and of course, my male bestfriend...

Natsu Dragneel. The idiot.

To think I'd be friends with an idiot, BEST FRIENDS.
But he's the guy who showed me to Fairy tail Academy, while walking on the same street as I am now. I'll never forget that. I was about to step into a cab until someone scared the Mavis out of me. The idiot, Natsu Dragneel.
"Hey Lucy!" He said with his famous grin. "Mind if I take a ride with you?"
"... I hope I don't have to pay for the ride like last time. You keep begging me to pay everything for you!" I snapped back at him. The salmon-hair high school boy looked at me with puppy eyes,
"Pretty please?" He pleaded.This guy... Not only is he an idiot, but a real beggar.
"*Sigh*, fine. But next time I swear, if you ask me again, you'll be the person who will pay everything. Now hurry up, we have to go," I replied. We got into the car and the taxi driver drove through the streets, soon arriving at our destination. We got off and I realized that we were already 15 minutes late.
"Ah!" I shouted. "Stupid traffic! We're super late!!! Natsu!!! We have to go, quick!" I grabbed his hand and started running like the wind. Because he was wondering of into 'la la land', when I took his hand and ran, he tripped and fell, so I ended up actually dragging him to class.
"NATSU!! GET UP, WILL YOU!! YOUR MAKING US EVEN MORE LATE!!" I screamed.
"Urghh.." He mumbled. I slammed the classroom doors open, breathing real hard. Everyone stared at us, especially Natsu, who laid on the floor like a dead body.
Mr. Gildarts looked at us upset,
"Natsu, Lucy... What made you two so late?"

What a start of a day. Great.
