Happy Birthday...?

I woke up early morning from my bed and lazily walked towards my kitchen. It's been a week since the jewelry shop incident.

Oh, how I longed to get that necklace... Well, I guess I can't go back there anymore since they don't want anything to deal with us anymore.

I started making pancakes while humming a song. The song I was singing, was a lullaby my mom would always sing to me when I go to bed. But now I live by my own, in an apartment. I used to live with my parents in a really rich house, but when I turned five, mom died. It was really hard on me, not only did she die, but dad had ignored me from then onwards. So two years ago I escaped the horrible father and started living in a rented apartment. That's when I met Natsu and Fairy tail Academy. I started doing part time jobs last year though, since I realized saved money wasn't enough. I bet dad is still rich with his company.

I ate all my pancakes and changed into my uniform. I rushed outside and got into a cab. Good thing I didn't bump into Natsu, or else I would have gotten late again. I rushed to class and sat next to my best buddy Levy-chan. Today is a very special day for me, but I don't think ANY one knows.

Natsu's P.O.V
School was finally over for today, but as usual I got nothing out of it. Except for basketball and other P.E stuff.

I went to the MMall alone to check out if the new 'call of duty' game was out. I ran up the escalators to the fifth floor and was about to enter the video game store, until I recognized the jewelry shop. I smiled as I remembered the awesome ruckus that happened in there..

Oh yeah.
I spotted the necklace that Lucy was looking at the other day. I don't know what had gotten into me, but I rushed into the shop to check it out. Somehow I felt that I HAD to by the necklace and give it to her today. One of the owners spotted me and came up to me disgusted,
"What are you doing here?" She asked. I looked at the lady and replied,
"To by this necklace, duh."
She crossed her arms and snapped back,
"Do you not remember the 'incident' you did here last week? If your gonna buy this necklace, your gonna have to pay double, so that your debt is gone."
Double the price? I looked at the price tag,

"What? Are you joking? Double of THAT?! That's the amount I was gonna but for the new call of Duty game..." I whined

"Well too bad, it's either you buy the necklace or get out."

I moaned as I stared at the price tag. I really wanted to by that video game so that I could tease Gray... Argh.
But I really felt like I needed to buy this necklace.

"... Put the necklace in a gift box, I'll buy it."

Lucy's P.O.V

I came home and changed into a pink t shirt that says "Be happy" and blue jeans. I took a cab to my 'real' house. As I stepped out of the cab, I hesitated when I stepped into my dads garden. I saw one of my maids, Virgo, notice me and ran to me,
"Welcome back, Young lady!" She shouted as she hugged me with all her strength,
"V-Virgo, I can't breath..."
She let go and apologized.
"Virgo I did not come back, I only came to visit Mom's grave. Please don't tell dad about it."
She looked down as she remembered the car accident from moms death,
"I see, take your time."
"Thanks."
"Oh and by the way, Happy Birthday!"
I smiled at her,
"Thanks for remembering."

Natsu's P.O.V
I stepped outside the cab and ran inside Lucy's apartment. I knocked on her door,
"Lucy? Are you there?"
... No reply
"Luce?"
"Are ya looking for Lucy Heartfillia?"a raspy voice said behind me. I turned behind to see Lucy's land lady kneeling on a wall and crossing her arms.
"If you are, she's at her house in Hearfillia Konzern."

I was confused,
"What? Isn't this her house?" I asked pointing to Lucy's door.
"Then where would her parents be?" She asked back with a'duh" tone.
"Oh yeah..."
The landlady rolled her eyes.
"Well? Aren't ya going?"
I nodded my head and ran back outside. I got into a cab,
"Take me to Hearfillia Konzern, quick!"

When I reached there, I pushed the big gate open and ran inside the decorated garden.
"Lucy!!" I called out. Then I found her near a grave. She looked at me with....
