The Goddess And The God

Chapter 3

It's been a week now since that one sunrise Aurora did, I haven't been able to get what's about to happen out of my head. the meeting is today so I have to put on a positive attitude when I face my parents the minute I walk out of this room to go to the meeting with them. I have to wear a special outfit for this day so I made it like they said I have to do out of our abilities. I had to think a lot about what I wanted my dress to be so, in the end, I choose a shoulderless dress that I made the color white with little tiny bits of yellow to represent life, the designs of the material I made at the bottom were little tiny cherry blossoms mixed with tulips, I made it with a soft material on the inside so I'm not itchy while waiting for the god of death my supposed husband to find me so we can then find the exit together. I had very quickly without noticing that I had put the dress on way too fast, I snapped out of my thoughts to put my shoes on and walked out of my room. when I enter the living room my parents were there in their fanciest clothing and were ready to go, '' mom I'm ready to go '' I said with a positive attitude '' honey you don't have to put the fake positive attitude with us '' said my dad as he walked to the couch and sat down '' Juno you know what's going to happen to us cant be averted right '' said my mom as you walked to me. I'm only 15 after 15 a goddess cant age anymore meaning that I cant grow old so ill stay young forever while my parents become old and die. '' do they really have to kill you guys after the meeting is over isn't there another way '' I said as tears started to form in the corners of my eyes '' sadly its the only way but don't worry my dear we will always be with you either way through life or through death '' said my mom as she wipes the forming tears that are about to come out away. '' well we should get going were about to be late '' said my dad as he began to open the door to let us walk out '' ladies first '' my da says to my mom as she smiles and gives him a kiss on the cheek before we walk out and head to the car. on the way there I can see a lot of the gods and goddesses arriving at the building where the meeting is going to be held. I can also see the newest gods and goddesses coming as well, one of the goddesses caught my attention, she had long wavy blue hair that looked almost black, and a pretty blue dress that had ocean designs on it, she also had her long hair in a high ponytail. I then finally arrived and made my way inside the building as I saw a lot of goddesses already in the jungle-like rooms they were assigned into already going to hide and wait till their husbands find them so they can exit together. As I'm waiting to be assigned to my room the girl with blue hair decides to sit next to me and smiles wide and then looks in my direction as I look back at her '' so are you new here too'' she says '' yes I am actually I'm going to guess your new too '' I said as a smile started to appear on my face '' well im the goddess of the ocean my names Lana '' Lana says as she puts her hand up to greet herself '' hi im the goddess of life my names Juno '' I said as I shake her hand. Lana then starts to talk about what she can do and shows me some of the tricks she knows and I do the same back which had her very interested, Lana and I became best friends really quickly as we sat down waiting for us to get assigned to our rooms to finally meet our husbands after 15 years
