SHE STOLE A TRUCK.

She literally stole a truck.. with the help of Aisha and Riven.

Not at all surprising that Riven knew how to hot-wire Silva's jeep, but it was very surprising that Aisha went along with them.

Aella sat in the passenger seat as Riven sped back to the school, Aisha in the back muttering about how much trouble they were in.

Aella looked back at the water fairy, "I don't think you understand how fucked we will be if we don't make it back to the school."

"What will your father say?" Aisha asked, crossing her arms.

Aella scoffed, "I'm pretty sure he'll be happy that he's - and me- are not dead, thank you very much."

"What all do you know of this Rose chick anyways?" Riven asked, checking his mirrors.

"Rosalind. And all I know is that Beatrix was willing to kill for her, and anyone willing to go that far is dangerous. I don't trust Beatrix, so I don't trust Rosalind."

They sat in silence while Riven drove, intertwining his fingers with Aella's to help calm both of their nerves.

He continued to look over to her, his eyes filled with fear and sadness. She practically read his thoughts, "I'll be okay Riven, we'll be okay."

"How can you promise that?" He asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

She felt her heart break at his voice, and closed her eyes, her head banging against the chair, "I can't."

"I can't keep you safe, what if because of me, you get hurt?"

Her eyes shot open, and she turned to him, "I'll be okay." But her voice said something else.

Riven nodded, knowing she could feel his doubt. He watched the road in silence, knowing her eyes were still on him.

Finally, they made it to the school, and Aisha was already gone before they could even park. Then, Aella felt it. She held her head in pain and saw it. The blue wall being taken down by Blooms fire.

Rosalind was free.

Shit shit shit, was all Aella could think, shit.

She jumped out of the car, determined to find her. She stopped, and turned back to Riven in the car, "get back to the barrier, you'll be safe with my fath- Silva. I'll see you when this is all over." She leaned over, pecking his cheek, and ran off in to the dark.

But she could feel a wall, she could feel Rosalind blocking her out so she couldn't track. So, she thought of the next best thing.

Dowling and Harvey had left just a few seconds before Aella convinced Riven to hot-wire the jeep, they left them because they knew of their connection to Beatrix.
