**Warren's POV**
I walk out of Mr . Henry's math class and head to my locker before going to football practice. I try to keep a straight face but somehow I can't. Alyssa Bigger just ran into me! :)
I have been in love with Alyssa since the 8th grade! She is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen! The way her blonde hair sweeps across her back, the way her eyes sparkle when she laughs! Ugh! HER LAUGH! I love her laugh. I can't think of any imperfections she might have.
I know, I know... I sound like a fucking girl.... But what can I say? I'm a softy when it comes to Alyssa...
The sound of someone snaping in my face wakes me from my thoughts.... I bring my head up sharply to see who is guilty of rudely snaping in my face when I see my best friend, Derek, smiling into my face like a goon.
"Whoooa, dude! What's wrong with you today?" Derek asks.
I just ignore him as I put my math book into my locker.
"Girl problems?" One thing Derek always does is jump into conclusions. He usually isn't even close but this time he is right on spot.
"Ya, actually, I am having a girl problem. " I inform him.
"Oh man, is it Alyssa again?"
I turn away from my locker and start to walk to the boys Locker room.
"I just don't know how to get her to talk to me, ya know?"
Derek takes a deep breath and says, "Warren, bro. She hates you. Ya, I get it shes a cheerleader and you are the quarter back, you two should be together. BUT you kind of ruined that chance back in 10th grade." We stop walking at the doors to the locker room and Derek turns and puts his hands on each side of my shoulders. "You need to forget about her and move on.... No matter how hot she is." Derek winks at me and walks into the locker room. I follow right behind him as I take in what he had just said. Maybe he was right?
