The Last Summer

Chapter 6

He slowly brought his hand up to her face and asked quietly, "Tell me I'm not the only one feeling this, the warmth."

He had a desperate look of desire in his eyes, a look Laylah had never seen in Dimitri. She was nervous, she stood on her toes and said "If you think I feel the way you, do kiss me."

Dimitri was ultimately shocked by the words the girl he had felt so strongly about for so long was standing in front of him, telling him to kiss her.

He slowly leaned into Laylah as she leaned into him. Dimitri's eyes flutter shut, he can feel her breath on his lips. He continues to lean into her, feeling his lips brush against her soft ones.

Just as they were about to make the connection, they hear a high pitched scream come from the direction they should be heading. The two turn their heads in the direction only to find Liz being thrown around by Liam and Elias.

Whilst laughing, Laylah rushes over to stop the two from harming the small blonde.

"Bitch you better put her the fuck down before I smack your ass so hard you won't be able to sit for a week."

"Laylah relax, we're just joking around." Liam begins to chuckle but immediately stops when he see's the death glare he'd received from Laylah. "Okay, I'm sorry... I'll put her down." Almost instantly after he puts the girl down gently, but not without getting splashed in the face with the salty sea water. 

"You bitch! That's it, you asked for it." 

Slowly Dimitri made his way down to the shoreline where the girl he had feelings for stood, her long wavy hair blowing slightly in the salty breeze. He continued to approach her, constantly appreciating how majestic she looked. As he reached her he hugged around her shoulders and spoke calmly in her ear, "You ready?"

She turned around to face him but at she opened her mouth to speak he scooped her up and started running into the water. As he ran out deeper the smile on her face grew and her arms wrapped around his neck. "Boy I swear to Jesus if you drop me it will be your last day on this planet." 

"I promise I wont drop you Princess," he whispered in her ear causing chills to run down her spine and her core to heat. Her body visibly shook at the action and the man holding her started laughing furiously. Laylah hit him for laughing and jumped out of his arms into the warm sea water below her. Dimitri immediately started swimming after her, looking everywhere he could. Getting farther and farther away from the beach as he went. 

Finally she surfaced about fifteen feet in front of him, smiling brightly before she stuck her tongue out at him in a playful manner. Dimitri swam to her and enveloped her in his arms, inhaling her sweet scent that mixed with the salty of the sea. Slowly he pulled away after what felt like hours, staring right into her eyes with such an intensity. Laylah reached her hand up to the boy's cheek, slowly guiding his face to her own. Her eyes switching between his eyes and lips. 

"I'm gonna be a bit daring and i need to know you're okay with this. Are you, because if you are I might not be able to stop myself?" She asks him desperately, eyes dark with desire. When he gave no reply she slowly released her had from his cheek and began to drift away. 

Realizing what he had just done, Dimitri swam after Laylah and grabbed her. Before she could protest, he pressed his lips against hers and hoped she would return his gesture. Without hesitation, she kissed back more deeply and a fiery sensation started in Laylah's stomach.

I'm baaaaaack! Its been a hot minute since I've been writing. Originally I was focusing on my other book 'His Precious Soulmate' but then I transferred schools to a more private school then life took a turn and i got a legitimate job and a boyfriend. But I apologize for not writing as much as I used to...
