I still see the boy who was going through the flowers.

He again gave me a small salute.

But this time I stopped there.

I didn't walk past him.

"Hi..."

This was a ridiculous move.

I doubted if he would even be able to acknowledge it.

Only to my surprise...

"Hi!"

I talked to a ghost.

And he listened.

Am I dreaming?

"Can I help you?"

"Why, yes. I thought you'd never ask."

He was.... waiting for me?

"Can you help me pick some flowers?
I am a bit late for an appointment with my girlfriend."

He doesn't know it, then.

"Yes, sure! But on one condition."

This was my chance.

"You will answer three of my questions."

The boy nodded.

"You go first, what is it you want to ask?"

My eyes were still skimming through the various flowers in vibrant colors.

"You have a girlfriend, do you love her?"

"With all of me."

Pink Lilies, admiration.

"Do you remember her well?"

"It's engraved in my heart."

Gladiolus, remembrance.

"What is love for you?"

He smiled with knowing eyes.

"To have someone you can think about and never get bored doing it.
You find every inch of them as precious as your life.
They make you smile every day, doesn't matter their physical availability.
You want them to be safe, even if that costs your life."

Blue Salvias, Long Life.

Love from this perspective was something entirely different.

"Here's your flowers."

He was still smiling, but somehow it looked more of a peaceful one.

"Keep them. You'll need it."

And then he disappeared into thin air,
only leaving a piece of paper behind.

'Pick flowers for Jae Rin.'

This was his last unfulfilled wish.

Now I knew what I had to do.
