I was sleeping peacefully when I heard a cry ring out in the middle of the night, awakening me from my lovely dream about Henry Cavil. Groaning from missing my sleep already, I got out of bed and peered through my window, wondering what happened that rudely awakened me from my dream date. Out in the middle of the sidewalk was a little boy maybe 6 or 7 years old. His crying had woke me up. Sighing realizing that I had to help him even though I badly wished I could return back to my lover, Mr. Welcome to Wonderland Dream Bed, I tipped toed down the staircase, so I wouldn't wake up my family. Even though they honestly all slept like the walking dead, so I didn't really know why I was being so quiet, to tell you the truth the moon could've exploded and they still would've been sleeping peacefully. That's how deep of a sleeper they all were. I unlocked the front door and ran across my front lawn to the crying- no sobbing little boy. Outside his cries were 10 times louder. I was surprised that the whole neighborhood wasn't up yet. Cautiously walking slowly up to the little boy, not wanting to scare him, I said:

"Sweetheart, are you okay? What happened to you?"

"I was riding my bike when I got lost. Then I fell off of it and hurt my leg."

That's when I noticed the tricycle next to him.

"Okay well don't worry, I'll help get you all fixed up, then we'll find your family. I know this whole neighborhood like the back of my hand, you won't ever get lost with me. Okay?"

"OK."

"Just follow me and I'll help fix your injury."

The little boy just nodded along, took my hand and followed me inside. I walked in the living room (which isn't all that big compared to my friends houses, it had a dark chocolate colored sofa the size of a football field in the middle of the room, a giant 70" inch TV over our fireplace, a glass table over our dark brown rug, with dark and light brown curtains covering our huge windows, there was so much brown it made me think that I magically transported into a giant chocolate cake) and set him down on the sofa. Turning on the tv, I put it on Max & Ruby. It was my favorite show to watch with my little brother when I was younger.

Walking into the downstairs bathroom, I grabbed the first aid and alcohol and went back to the little boy. I could see him much better now from the glow of the TV screen light. With dark blonde colored hair and the brightest blue eyes I ever seen, he looked way younger now that I thought about it. Maybe 5 years old.

"Sweety could you please tell me your name?"

"I'm Cole Davidson."

He said proudly showing off the gap of his missing two front teeth.

"Okay well Mr. Cole Davidson, can you please tell me where you hurt yourself when you fell off of your tricycle?"

"It's not a tricycle it's a bike and I hurt my leg." He said pointing toward his right leg.

Smiling to myself at his correction, I lifted up his right pants leg and saw an ugly bruise that was starting to form. It was yellowish and had a purplish tint around the edges, the bruise covered half of his leg. Grabbing the first aid kit and the alcohol, I cleaned up his leg making sure to be careful not to apply to much pressure on his bruise.

"Okay Cole looks like you're all cleaned up, and once I finish putting all the stuff away we'll go find you're family."

He smiled at me and went back to watching the TV. I put everything away and wrote a note to my parents telling them what happened, just in case they woke up early and wondered why I wasn't in my room. I grabbed my phone as a extra precaution and decided to grab some weapons just in case someone tried to mess with us. Grabbing a bat, a pocketknife, my taser, and some running shoes, I quickly put the weapons and shoes on, leaving the bat for my hand. I ran downstairs, not caring if my family woke up even though I knew they wouldn't, turned off the TV and asked Cole if he was ready. He shook his head yes and I lead him out the front door and to his "bike" that we had left outside. Helping him ride his bike I saw how dark it really was outside.
