After a while my leg started feeling better but Chris's game kept getting worse. I would ask him whats wrong but he kept pushing me away

Me and him were practicing alone since everyone else left " go long" i said as he ran down the feild

I threw the ball and he jumped to catch it but crashed to the ground i took off running to help him up.

  Chris sighed shaking his head " I'm just gonna go home" he said

I shook my head " no man, whats wrong" i asked

Chris ignored me and tired to walk passed me so i grabbed his arm and he yanked it away turning to me " dont touch me" he said

I put my hands up in defense " i won't okay. But atleast tell me whats wrong" I said

Chris rolled his eyes " you wanna know whats wrong? Its you. Your throwing me off my game with you half ass playing so leave me alone" he said walking off

I knew that wasn't it but I stood there untill i knew he was long gone. I shook my head and walked off the field going to the bus stop. I didn't stop thinking about him from the bus stop, to on the bus, and even when i made it to spencers house where i was staying.

  I walked in and sat on the couch as Spencer and dillon played fortnite "what's wrong?" Dillon asked

I shook my head " nothing dont worry about it" i said

Spencer looked up seeing the look on my face and he let one of the other player kill him " can you go get me something to drink d" he asked

Dillon nodded going to the kitchen as he turned to me " what happend" he asked

I sighed " well me and chris were practicing after everyone left and i threw the ball and he tripped and i asked him what was wrong and he said that i was the problem and i was throwing him off and to leave him alone forever" i said inbetween breaths

Spencer sighed " well first off you should give him time and no that its not your fault. If it was he wouldnt have said it like that" he said

I nodded " yeah i guess your right" i said as Dillon came back

I grabbed the controller but i was barely paying attention cause I couldnt stop thinking about chris.
