The rest of the week went by pretty fast. After everything had happened on that Monday, I stayed overtime on Tuesday, and Wednesday in an attempt to keep myself busy.

However it didn't work. Both nights when I went back home I pulled that stupid fucking piece of metal and mutilated my thighs. It was Thursday now and I was dreading my day off on Friday. I didn't want to spend a whole day by myself.

I was about to clock out when a receptionist ran up to me. "Miss Zero! Before you go, can you review these contracts?"

"Yeah, sure!" I smiled, happy to have to stay longer.

"Okay! They're due Saturday morning. Eraserhead meets to sign them himself but I figured you could read them and tell him the gist of it so he can sign them first thing in the morning Saturday!" She was so damn cheerful.

I nodded with a polite smile before I clocked out and went to the car. I dialed his number knowing he would want to review the papers himself. "Zero, what's up?" He asked.

"I have some contracts they need you to go over for Saturday morning. Want me to scan them and email them to you?" I asked as I looked over them briefly. "They look like Student Work Studies applications."

"Fuck." He hissed. "I hate to ask this but can you bring them to me at the school?"

"Yeah that's fine." I responded plainly as I put the papers in the passenger seat and started the engine.

"Okay, I'll let the guard know you're coming, and to let you in the parking garage- hold on" He paused. "Eri. Sweetheart. Can you wait five minutes? This is an important call okay?" He spoke so softly and so kindly to her.

I felt like an elephant was standing on my chest. Who was Eri?

"Sorry about that." He continued to tell me where the teacher apartments were and how to get to them from the parking structure but honestly, all I could think about was the girl he had in his apartment.

It wasn't until I got there that I realized I hadn't listened to his instructions and I was now lost in the campus. It was huge and I didn't know where to go so I called him again. "Are you here?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm lost. Sorry, got mixed around." I spoke softly, my mind still on this Eri person.

I heard him sigh softly. "What do you see around you? I'll come find you."

I described where I was and after he hung up I stood awkwardly as I waited. Students looked at me funny as they passed.

"Zero." I heard his voice behind me, making me jump.

"Oh! Eraser. Here's your papers." I handed them awkwardly to him.

"Thanks." He replied as he took them? "Do you want to come to my apartment for some tea?"

I shook my head. "I should probably go."

"You could meet Eri if you do come by." He mentioned.

I paused for a second weighing my options. Why did he want me to meet her? Was this some weird way of flexing? Showing me that there isn't anything between us? Curiosity got the better of me and I agreed.

The walk to the teacher apartments seemed to take forever. I got more and more nervous the closer we got. Inside the building we went to the second floor and to the right. He opened the door and held it open for me as I held my breath and stepped inside.

Before me was a purple haired boy in a UA uniform sitting on the floor with a white haired girl who couldn't possibly have been older than 7.

"Zero, this is Shinso and Eri." Shouta introduced me.
