(a week later)
"Get out of my fucking head.", he angrily grumbled, annoyed at the fact that he couldn't sleep. Predictably, he was thinking about Boketto. Not just what she looked like but the past times they've spent together.
After a long day of training he'd want nothing more than to rest peacefully. But that was almost impossible now.
"Gotta do something about this. She's messing with my sleep schedule."
His eyebrows furrowed as he continued to think. "Why am I thinking about Bo anyway?", he asked himself.
"Do I like her or not?", he questioned. He knew what the answer was but didn't want to admit it, not even to himself.
"Dammit.", his muffled voice growled into his pillow.
He didn't like this feeling. When you like someone but don't know what to do about it, you'd feel restrained. That's exactly how he's feeling.
It made him mad. He shouldn't be holding anything back, he's The Katsuki Bakugo after all. Nothing should scare him.
Was it rejection he was fearing? He's never experienced it but if Boketto were to deny him, it'd most likely change their friendship.
Or maybe he wasn't ready to be in a relationship right now. That's what he told himself but making an exception for Asade wouldn't take any second thought.
So what's the hold up? What will he do?
Same night, Boketto POV
"What the hell? Let me sleep, stupid brain.", her tired voice muttered. This isn't the first time Bakugo interrupted her rest. It's been happening a lot lately, and it's getting irritable.
She spent today working as an assistant, then homework, and lastly made dinner. Katsuki didn't come over today, he was busy training. Words can't explain how much she just wants to sleep, but that's becoming a bit difficult.
"I don't like him like that, do I?", she asked herself. "Maybe I do.", she admitted.
Boketto isn't bold when it comes to crushes. She lets everything play out itself. She lets the other person make the first move. And if they don't, they'll never know that she liked them.
Possibly because she's afraid of someone not feeling the same way she does. To her, that's one of the most embarrassing things that could occur.
"Just gotta come to a conclusion. Then I'd be able to sleep."
What exactly was the conclusion she came up with? Nonetheless, within 20 minutes she was fast asleep. And so was Bakugo.
