6 months later.
(Nicoles pov)
Its been so long since the last day I saw Adrianna , its been tourterous without my sweet best friend. At first I thought she went home so she wouldnt get into trouble but when I asked for her they said she wasnt there . I waited two days before I started to worry and went to my father to ask for a search , obvuously I was denied so I wenty self searching for a scent or something but came up empty , how could she just have dissapeared into thin air? She couldnt so I knew somthing was up and it hurt to know she might be in pain. I couldnt link with her since omegas wernt aloud that privalage at all. My brother was no help he just smiled and ignored me , I just knew he was part of her dissaperance somehow.
At the moment im in the forest in my wolf form distraut and pacing , my wolf who I called mimi was also upset that our delicate friend was nowhere to be found. My wolf and Rii's wolf connected the day and rii transfered blood , I remember it like it was yesterday.
+Flashback+
It was a saturday morning and I had picked up Adrianna so we could go running though she hadnt shifted yet since she was only seventeen at the time she was fast and agile enough to be close to a full shifted wolf . I was nineteen and had just shifted that night after my long visit to the city and I wanted to fully enjoy it with my best friend .
Once we arrived to the forest edge I transformed into my wolf who was a light grey and yiped happily towards Adrianna and walked a few steps forward before looking back.
She smiled happily.
" you are so beautiful Nikii I cant wait to shift , will you be there for me ?" She asked hopfully , I just nodded and ran with her right behind me.
It was true when people say to shift you need help if not you could die but some people do make it , like me I shifted alone and made it . Some people though had to connect to someone through blood transfer .
I was pulled out of my thoughts as Rii laughed as she got right up to me . I gave her a wolfy grin before pushing myself digging my nails into the ground and pushing with all my might. After a few hours of running I stopped at a lake and goulped down water as did Rii .
"that was fun , ive missed you nikii"
We sat there smiling but not long before we did I heard rii scream in pain . My eyes widened as I turned human and went to hold her.
"ARE YOU OKAY ?WHATS WRONG?" I screamed pained to see her like this. I was shocked when I heard my wolf say hurridly.
'shes shifting ! Shes going to need a blood transfer Nicole shes shifting to early'
I just nodded as I did just that.
+End of flashback+
I looked up into the sky as I felt a pain in my heart grow ive been feeling her emotions more now and they wernt pretty . I felt her pain and saddness but never knew why. I growled and howled my pain and her pain, I howled for my lost friend , I howled my anger and howled for realese of my frustrations. My wolf also howled for all th at has happened and howled for her friend . I stopped howling in shock when I heard a pained croak .
'Nicole ... Help please I cant take it anymore...'
I stood shocked , relieved and worried.
'Rii ? ' I whispered .
'help...'
