"This is the life," I mumbled as I sighed to myself, slowly savoring the taste of my favorite ice cream. I finally decided to take a few days off of work and relax before the beginning of the spring season. Knowing things were bound to get hectic once again, I let everyone at my company know that'd I'd be taking a few days to myself. With no contact from my employees, my mind was at ease knowing I left my most trusted secretary in charge.

I was in an oversized T-shirt from Quincy with my favorite white fuzzy socks. My hair was pulled up into a messy bun without a care in the world. My face was fresh from any makeup, only washing it from a fresh shower earlier in the morning. The huge flat screen TV was playing some documentary about sea life in the ocean. The calm voice of the narrator  and the serene background only seemed to fit the mood perfectly.

I had my favorite vanilla scented candles lit inside the living room, dimming the main lights, allowing for the gray walls to show their true colors. My head was laid back on the arm of the black couch as my legs were slightly cuddled up to my chest. I was in heaven. No one could do anything to ruin the moment. I was finally in control. Until it happened.

My eyes widened. My heart quickened its pace. The spoon shook in my hand at the sound of someone unlocking and opening the front door. Footsteps made their way in, but I couldn't see who it was as the area was pretty dark. I could see they brought a hand up and I clenched my eyes shut, prepared for anything to happen. Then, the lights flickered on.

"What is going on in here," the voice mused. I flickered my eyes open at the sound of the voice. I was so caught up in the moment, I kinda forgot that I had a boyfriend. Oops.

"Oh umm," I blushed and smiled sheepishly, "just a little bit of relaxing, you know?"

"Relaxing?" Quincy questioned, amused. I nodded my head and scooped another spoonful of ice cream. "Relaxing?" He pressed again.

"Uhh yeah. Why are you acting like you don't understand?" He looked at me, eyebrows raised, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"You don't remember do you?" I looked at him puzzled.

"Remember what?" I asked, slowly taking the spoon out of my mouth. His smirk only grew wider. "What, Quincy? I seriously don't remember." The look of mockery he held only confused me even more. In all honesty I did not know what he was talking about. He pushed himself off of the wall and walked over to me. He took the spoon from my hand and the ice cream that rested at my side. He placed them both on the glass coffee table in front of us, and crouched to my level.

He leaned in and looked me straight in the eye. "A week ago from today, you promised me that I would train you in the gym later." My mind raced back to that very moment. I grew red just thinking about it. After we finished our night festivities, if you get what I mean, I joked about not being able to keep up with Quincy. I guess somewhere at the time I had agreed to start working out with him so I could "increase my stamina" whenever I had free time. Just my luck he wanted to right now.

"Why now though? I have so many upcoming days instead! I don't want to do anything at all today!" I probably sounded like a brat, but I didn't care.

"You literally just answered your own question. If you continue to push it off, you'll never get it done. So, we should begin today." He looked me straight in the eye, voice defiant without any room to argue. "Now, go get dressed, princesa." I rolled my eyes at the nickname and walked away to do what he said. Of course not without a pout and heavily stomping my feet. What can I say, I've always hated any type of physical activity ever since I started PE years ago.

~Time Skip~

I dressed simply in a black pair of leggings and sports bra, completing the look with my black and white Nike Air Max's. I didn't bother touching my hair because I didn't plan on doing anything too strenuous no matter what Quincy says. With that I made my way back downstairs to meet Quincy. By the time I got down, he wasn't there anymore. My best guess was that he already made it to our at home gym, so I sluggishly began my journey there.

I walked through the hallway, passing the movie and game room, places I wished to hide at the moment. I made a right at the end of the hallway and continued to walk straight towards the entrance of the gym. The man was so dedicated to fitness to the point that our at home gym, literally resembled that of a real one.

I pushed open the door and saw Quincy running on one of the treadmills. I walked all the way in and let the door slam shut to make my presence known to him. He looked towards me then pressed some buttons on the machine, making the treacherous contraption slowly come to a stop. "Just getting warmed up," Quincy said with a smile and sent a wink my way. I stood against the wall, arms crossed in front of my chest, already bored and completely uninterested. "Aww, why the long face?" He made fake concern.

"Shut up," I told him. All I earned was a laugh from him. I'm glad he thinks this is funny. He waved me over towards him. I rolled my eyes but pushed myself off the wall nonetheless.

"Okay, first things first. Just like you saw me do a few moments ago, we're going to begin on the treadmill just to warm your muscles up." As I got within the reach of his arms, he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me up on the machine in front of him.

As I began to walk, my head was down completely fascinated with the way the conveyor belt moved below my feet. My arms rested on either side of the treadmill to hold on. Quincy stood right behind me, guiding me with a strong hold on my waist.

"First thing's first," Quincy called out, "while exercising, you need to have the proper form." I heard what he said, but I was completely glum and unwilling to give in to him. Noticing my demeanor, he took two of his fingers from his right hand to give an attentive tap to my hip. I turned my head to the side a bit to show that I was somewhat listening.

From the corner of my eye, I could see him lick those plump lips of his as he slightly leaned closer to the juncture of my neck to whisper something into my ear. "I hope you're paying attention," he paused, his lips lightly grazing a sensitive location. "I'll be putting your abilities to the test." His body shifted forward from his original position where I could feel him pressed against my back. I shuddered a little from the minor contact, looking forward to what was to come.
