Chapter 18 Family Day/Suprise

MASON POV

Dana and I decided that we should just have a day to ourselves and Hunter. So we are just gunna stay home and relax.

I got up at 10 because Hunter was crying. I fed her and changed her diaper before going to her dresser and picking her outfit out. I picked out a onsie that said "come at me bro" on it and that was it. It was about 85° so it was pretty hot and Cole turned down the air-conditioning because it gets cold at night. I went and turned it back so it would cool down in here. Hunter started getting fussy. I took her to Dana and my room and layed her next to Dana. She started crying and it woke Dana up. He picked her up and she stopped.

"She wanted to see her daddy" I said smiling

Dana looked at me and smiled.

"Well you will see daddy a lot today" he said to Hunter and she smiled

I sat on the bed next to him. He leaned over and kissed me.

"And the family day starts now" he said

I giggled. We went downstairs and I cooked us breakfast. We had bacon, eggs, and sausage. We sat down and ate, then went to the living room and watched grownups.

"Maybe that will be us one day" Dana said

"What? All of us old and with like 3 kids each going to a cabin for a week" I asked

"He nodded and Will with be the one with no kids" he said

"Hey that's mean, he's the one who is dating the older women" I said

Dana bursted out laughing.

"ah I love you babe" he said kissing

"I love-

I was inturepted by my phone ringing. I groaned and answered it.

"hello" I said

"Mas, you need to come down to the studio now" Perry's voice rang through my phone

"whyyyy I'm spending my day with Dana and baby Hunter" I said

"it's important and bring those two too" she said

"fine bye" I said in a bitchy tone

"we have to go the studio for something important" I said

He smiled.

"get dressed, so we can go" he said

I ran up to our room and changed into a black crop top with light blue high waisted shorts then a black and white cardigan over it and flip flops. I went to Hunter's room and grabbed diapers and extra set of clothes for her. I walked back down stairs and got baby bottles and formula and put it in the baby bag with the diapers and extra set of clothes. I put the bag on the table then went back up stairs. I grabbed Dana's and my phone charger just in case we are there for a long time. I ran back downstairs and got Hunter's bottles ready just in case. Dana was ready and waiting in the living room for me.

"let's go" I said walking to the door

"calm down babe" Dana said

"no they ruined our family day" I whined

"It's fine. They obviously have something big" he said

I groaned. I handed Dana Hunter's bag and took Hunter from him. I put Hunter in her car seat and buckled her up. I picked her up, and walked to the car. I put Hunter in her car seat holder, and got in the passenger seat. I plugged my phone in the car radio, and put Pandora on waiting for Dana. Dana walked out slowly. I looked at him. He then ran to the car.

"calm down" he said pulling out of the driveway

We drove to the XIX building. I look out the window the whole drive. Dana parked the car and got out. He ran to my side of the car as fast as I could get my seat belt off, and opened the door. I smiled at him. I got out of the car. I went to the backseat, and got Hunter's carrier. She was whimpering.

"What's wrong Babygirl" I said taking her out of her carrier

I held her while walking into the XIX building.

"who's room are we going in" I asked

"Jill's" he said

I nodded then walked to the elevator waving to the lady at the front desk. We walked into the elevator waiting for it to get to the floor.

"let me hold Hunter" Dana said holding his hands out

I placed Hunter into his arms carefully. Looking at them made me happy, I know even though he isn't her father he loves her like he is, and he will protect her.

When we finally got to the floor we need to be at, we walked to Jill's room. I opened the door, and walked in.

"SUPRISE" all my sisters yelled

"what is this" I asked

"a surprise birthday party for our 16 year old sister" Perrie said

"what's todays day" I ask

"September 26" Amber said smiling

"It's my birthday" I said shocked

"you really forgot your birthday" Dalton asked

"I have more things to worry about then my birthday, like my daughter, the band" I said

"well right now, is time to celebrate your birthday. Don't worry about taking care of Hunter, I will" Kerry my sisters' mom said

"no no no. She is my daughter. You shouldn't have to take care of her. She is my daughter, my responsibility" I said

"Mason. I know your a new mother. I know you don't want to leave Hunter, but it is your 16th birthday, let me take care of Hunter and go have fun" Kerry said

"but-

"Mason Ann Pendery. You are going to have fun" she said in her mother voice

I sighed, and nodded. Kerry took Hunter out of Dana's arms. I handed her the baby bag.

"get me if you need anything" I said

"Mason she will be fine go have fun" she said

I sighed, and nodded walking over to my sisters.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" they scream

I laughed, and hugged them.

"picture time" Dalton said

The girls wrapped their arms each other, and I was in the middle. Cole walked in and was holding something in his hand. He let in dangle, and I saw what it was. CAR KEYS. My jaw dropped, and Dalton took a picture.  I ran over to Cole.

" are.. Are those" I couldn't get the words out.

Perrie picked me up, and carried me outside.  There was a black jeep with a big bow on it with Happy Birthday Mason on the window. My jaw dropped.

"Happy Birthday Mas" Cole said

I hugged him. He handed me the keys.

"I don't know how to drive" I said

"that is why I am taking you to take the test tomorrow" he said

"hope you have been studying" Amber said smiling

"this is the best birthday every, and I get to spend it with my favorite people" I said hugging them

"I love you guys" I said

"we love you too Mason" they said
