Veterinarian

Head canon: Law is inexperienced with animals since he is a doctor who had always studied humans, so he can't do much for Bepo if he were to get seriously injured.

One day, you go to the dock to go see what all the ruckus is about. You see a tall man and a polar bear walk out onto the deck of a yellow submarine.

You think to yourself 'damn, the bear is cute, but the guy is hot'

The tall man suddenly looks at you. He sees you wearing a doctor coat and immediately takes interest.

Once they dock, he walks up to you and says "are you a veterinarian?!" With panic in his voice.

Now that you get a closer look, the bear is covering in deep slashes and is being held up to stand.

You blurt out the truth of "YES"

"I have everything necessary for basic procedures, please help my friend"

You can tell by the urgency in his voice he is on the verge of crying.

You swiftly jump on board with the tall man.

"By the way, my name is Law, and this is Bepo"

"Cool, my name is _____"

And you instantly start looking over the bear named Bepo. You look at his eyes and realize that he was still concious! You yell out commands to the crew including the captain to sedate the bear so he doesn't feel the pain.

They run over about a minute later carrying everything needed. They put the bear asleep and you start working.

2 hours later (hehe I'm being lazy)

You and Law are sitting at the table as you wait for results to see if your treatment worked.

"So... How long have you been a vet?"

"About 7 years I think, this was the first bear I've worked on though."

"Yea I bet"

Another hour goes by as you two are talking over tea. You then hear rustling behind you and look. You see Bepo hiding around a corner. As soon as you turn your head Law does the same. He runs over to you and hugs you tightly. Confused at the sudden embrace you slowly move your hands to his back to return the hug.

Once the hug is over, you notice that he had started to cry.

You look up to see Law's eyes. He looks back at you then to Bepo. Bepo hobbles over to give you both a hug. Engulfed in Bepo's warm fur you slowly drift off to sleep even while standing.

Time skip about an hour

You wake up in an unknown room, and you look over to see Law sitting at a chair working on a report.

"Where am I and what happened?"

"Oh good, your awake, seems like you haven't been getting enough sleep, because once Bepo had hugged you, you fell asleep"

"Yea, ive been having a troubling amount of patients"

"Oh? Any consistency with why they are patients"

"Yea some wild animal is attacking everyone's pets"

"Any clue what animal it could be?"

"No not really, it's just animals who didn't stock up enough for the winter, it's always busy around this time"

"Is there any way I could help?"

"Unless you are good with animals not really"

"Good point, all I can do is bandage and sedate animals."

"How is Bepo? He took a lot of damage"

"Oh, he's fine, he's currently basking in the cold weather"

"That's nice to hear"

He then looks you in the eye, with a very serious look. You can already tell what he is going to say.

"Will you join my crew ______-Ya?"

"I'm not sure if I can, what will happen to a--"

He suddenly leans forward and kisses you directly on the lips. You feel the courseness of his dry lips come in contact with yours, as you both savor the moment. Once he pulls away, he looks at you again.

"Yes I will join your crew Law."
