Summary: Chan wakes up to complete darkness and sheer confusion.

Who knew you'd get such a positively warm welcome from Hell.

Everything was black. Blacker than midnight. blacker than the unluckiest of cats. Blacker than the colour of the clothes he was always so adamant on wearing.

Chan didn't know what was going on, there was nothing in sight. Just...darkness. He could move wherever he wanted but he didn't know where to go.

All he could see was himself, when he looked down he could see his feet standing in a void and his hands were there just like they were 20 minutes ago.

With no sense of direction and no idea what the hell was going on, he moved forward. He decided that continuously going one way would resolve something. Or at least he hoped it would.

It was aggravating, going somewhere with no known surroundings. Maybe he'd walk into a pole, or fall down a sinkhole, or maybe he would trip-

There was something on the ground that he subsequently fell over, arms splaying out in an attempt to catch himself, however as soon as his hands touched the supposed ground, they broke through and he was falling.

Falling deeper and deeper, or maybe higher and higher. Chan honestly didn't know. It seemed so complicated and his depth perception was quite, for lack of a better word; fucked.

He fell for was seemed like hours, the minutes ticking by, reminding him of when he would watch the clock in the lecture hall. It seemed so long ago now, that he was sitting, whistling the time away as his lecturer droned on about time signatures.

Chan loved music, but he loved doing it himself. Learning in his own time and progressing as he moved along. Having to listen to that guy 4 times a week drained him and by the time he wanted to actually work, he was so demotivated.

Eventually, Chan hit the ground with an 'oof.' It was understandably unexpected, having just fell so many feet and all of a sudden hitting the ground, no pain whatsoever, just surprise.

The blonde stood up and dusted himself off. He scoffed. He didn't have anyone to impress, there was no one even here.

Chan began walking again, as if he actually had somewhere to go. Everything was still just black and he didn't know how long it would be like that.

He wanted someone, anyone. Although he would prefer to be panicking with a person he knew, like his roommate and best friend Changbin. Not this random boy that had oh so suddenly appeared in front of him with a polite smile adorning his face.

Chan flinched back, right onto the floor, wide-eyed and staring at the intruder. Intruder? This was an open void that Chan most definitely didn't own but for some reason, he felt like this man shouldn't be there.

"That's because I shouldn't, I had to venture out quite far to find you" he was still smiling as he helped Chan stand up.

"What?" Chan hadn't used his voice in what seemed like forever and he had to clear it after hearing the raspiness.

"You think I shouldn't belong here, I don't delve into these parts usually, but you had to go and somehow escape the original decision room we placed you in."

"What?" Chan was very confused, to say the least.

"You managed to fall into a time void, somehow. I mean all you had to do was walk forward a little bit and you'd be there" Chan though he had walked forward.
