Adrienette ~ A Miraculous Story: Romeo & Juliet

~ Chapter 3: A Chance? ~

"You got it girl", she said excitedly as she started playing her flute, "MIRAGE!", she shouted as her illusion appeared before her.

They watched as they saw an image of Marinette walking out of the school and right in front of Juliet.

"What is that!?!", A blue-bell-eyed girl said dropping her script that was in her hand.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng!", she said, "there you are!"

The illusion of her immediately turned around and ran towards the school.

"COME BACK!!", she said chasing after her, "Aren't you Juliet!?", she shouted.

Chat jumped back towards the other two heroines before he smiled, "M'Lady, are you poison-tive, this is going to work?"

Ladybug smirked at him, "Of course, it's going to work Romeo. Now let's go!", she said as they all hopped off the roof.

On the other hand, Mari (the illusion) stopped in the middle of the school courtyard and turned around to face Juliet.

"Chloe, calm down", she said with a worried look on her face.

"I'm not CHLOE! I'm JULIET!", she shouted pulling out Romeo's dagger, "but if you insist on being Juliet then you can have the role!", she stated as she threw the dagger at Mari.

As soon as the dagger made contact with Mari the illusion vanished and instead, it hit the makeup container.

The lid cracked, and the part of it that had not been destroyed opened up at the impact. The dagger ended up hitting the blush powder, forming a bit of a dust cloud.

"What the?!", Juliet said confused as she watched the little cloud dissipate to show the small mirror.

She looked closely into it and saw Ladybug sneaking up behind her when she quickly turned around and flung a few daggers.

Ladybug dodged them as Juliet laughed, "Really Ladybug? I thought you were better than that! I guess you don't always come up with the best plans!"

Meanwhile, the heroine smirked and stood up confidently as she held her yo-yo in her hand.

"Who said the plan was over?", she stated, "If you want to be Juliet then go ahead but you also have to take her tragedies too!"

"Stop stalling!", she shouted throwing more daggers as Ladybug blocked them with a spin of her yo-yo.

"RENA NOW!", she yelled as Rena Rouge jumped out from behind her.

Juliet smirked, "A sneak attack really?", she stated tossing more daggers at both Rena and Ladybug.

"Not quite!", Rena said teasingly as she hit one of the last daggers aimed at her in the air, before catching it in her hand.

Meanwhile, Ladybug was still blocking all the other daggers from touching either her or her best friend. Rena and Ladybug gave each other a nod and Rena tossed the dagger back at Juliet.

"That's not going-"

"CATACLYSM!", Chat yelled as he touched the wrestling mat that Juliet was standing on.

Juliet lost her balance and was unable to dodge the dagger that was heading straight at her, "Nooooo!!!!", she yelled as the dagger tapped on her, causing her to fall asleep and lay softly on the ground.

Marinette smirked as she caught her yo-yo and put it away, after all, she was able to put Chloe down as her alter ego. She walked over to Juliet and grinned.
