~ Chapter 2: Akuma Alert ~

"O-Our lines?", the girl asked blinking

"Yeah! Romeo and Juliet's!"

Marinette froze suddenly realizing what her crush just said, Romeo...Romeo...ADRIEN IS PLAYING ROMEO!?

"Marinette?", Adrien asked confused about his friend's reaction.

"Line line right!", she quickly spoke, "right Romeo and Juliet's lines, the say they words, wait I mean the words they say, to each other, right!!!" Marinette paused for a moment, thinking through what this meant. She was so surprised that she got the role of Juliet that she forgot that of course Adrien would be playing Romeo!

Alya watched as her best friend as she loaded deciding that she would save her before she embarrassed herself.

"Hi Adrien!", Alya stated, walking up to the pair.

"Hi Alya!", Adrien responded with his usual smile.

"You know I think Marinette is free this weekend, right Marinette?"

The bluebell-eyed girl just nodded.

"Great!", I'll see you at your house then Marinette! Later Alya!"

"Bye!", she said waving as Adrien left before she looked back at her friend, "Girl!"

"Alya!!!", Marinette said horrified, "What am I going to do? I can't speak to Adrien!"

"Which is exactly why Nino and I wrote the play this way, the only scene you have to look at him is the very last one!"

Marinette pouted, confused, but agreed nonetheless, trusting her best friend. They left the classroom, which was already empty as their classmates left after receiving their script, all excited about the play when suddenly there was a large crash.

"What was that?!", Mari said looking around, knowing full that she would have to make an excuse to turn into Ladybug.

"I don't know", Alya stated as they both ran to the window of the classroom and looked out.

"Hahaha", an akumatized person said laughing with daggers in her hand, "Hello all of Paris! I'm the one and only, Juliet! No one else can take my role unless they want my tragedy too!", she said waving her daggers.

The akumatized person seemed to stop for a second as if communicating with Hawkmoth, before they spoke again, "Try and stop me Ladybug and Chat Noir! There can only be one Romeo and Juliet in Paris!", she started hopping away.

"Is that—?"

"Chloe", Alya finished Marinette's question as she gave a dull expression, "I guess someone is mad about not getting the role."

"Yeah...", Marinette said quietly. Chloe was not one to fall for Hawkmoth's actions and she knew that Ladybug was the only one to help snap her out of it, despite the damage she caused with being akumatized as Queen Bee.

"Anyways I'm going to go take a video of this for the Ladyblog, later girl!", Alya said excitedly as she ran away quickly.

Tikki flew put and smiled at her owner, "Well at least you don't have to make any ridiculous excuse anymore!"

Mari chuckled, "True, besides I think I need to start thinking of some other lines to say if I'm going to have to go up against Chloe again for the role of Juliet. Tikki Spots On!"

"Ohhh seems like somebody really became a prince today", Plagg said teasingly as he held his camembert.
