3 years later...

The air crackled with excitement as guests from across the nation went around the show room, getting acquainted with one another as well as the products displayed in show glasses all over the area. Caterers dressed in blue and white working attires, carrying trays filled with drinks and small chops served with cheer as they glided expertly making sure everyone was being taken care of.

"If I may have your attention please." Said a voice into the microphone, making the chatter die down within seconds and causing everyone to divert their attention to the man standing on the podium.

"Thank you." He said with a smile.

"We have all gathered here today for one reason only, to celebrate the success of this great company. So, without much further ado, let us make welcome the enchanting, beautiful, lovely Oma Philips!"

The crowd cheered as Oma walked up the podium with a smile. Her hair was styled in a twist and locked behind her ears showing off a beautiful set of gold earrings and a necklace with a green stone in the middle. She wore a teal off shoulder dress that hugged her body from her waist down to her thigh and flowed beautifully down to her ankle and a pair of nude shoes to match her nude purse.

"Wow." Oma breathed.

"Honestly I am so overwhelmed by the love and support every one of you has shown me over the past few years. Angel's Touch would not be here today if it weren't for your trust and support. We went from strangers, to business partners, and now we have grown to become a family. As you all know, there is no success story with a beginning; without that edge and mine started with a delivery, as a naïve little girl who just wanted to make ends meet like everyone else.

When I started this business, it was purely based on survival and of course passion which was what kept me going even when I had to juggle classes, exams and sourcing for better ways to improve my product, that I was not thinking of what it could be years down the line.

Sometimes life will take you in a journey and through opportunities but it is left for us to recognize those opportunities and hold onto them. I met my own bundle of opportunity and held onto it and because of that, Angel's Touch is where it is today. Three long years of success and definitely more to come, and in light of our three years anniversary celebration I am proud to announce that Angel's Touch will be launching her new line of natural hair product!" The room exploded with sounds of applause.

"You all came here today to celebrate me but I am only here to celebrate you all, to thank you for continuous support and patronage. Let the celebration continue!"

Oma made her way down the podium with her shoulders held high and her heart thundering in her chest. This was one event she didn't think was possible.

"That was the best speech ever!"

Oma turned to the voice that spoke and her mouth involuntary hung in disbelieve.

"Bose! How?..."

Bose laughed, "I'll advice you to close that mouth because I will not be responsible for the flies that will fit in there."

Oma laughed, and the ladies hugged. "I cannot believe you are here right now. When did you come in?"

"I came in last night. What you thought I would miss this great event of yours huh?"

"Oh my god! I am so glad you made it oh Angel is totally going to freak when she sees you here."

"Speaking of, where is my little Angel?" Bose asked, looking around.

"Where else? With her dad of course. Those two are completely inseparable these days."

"Aww someone seems jealous."

"Oh please, why would I be? He has as much right to her as I do nothing to be jealous of. Oh there they are."

They made their way outside and Bose leaned slightly to whisper into Oma's ear, "I am so proud of you girl, so proud"

Oma smiled, "I honestly have you to thank for it to be honest, you are the best friend I never thought I needed. Thank you." They smiled as they made their way to the man holding a little girl and talking to another lady.

"My little Angel!"

Bose called out when they got close and the little girl whipped around and faster than anyone could expect she pried her hand of the man and ran towards Bose, jumping on her immediately she got close.

"Auwty Boseeeee!"

Her voice was loud enough that everyone around turned towards the duo either smiling or laughing at the little girl's reaction.

"You came! You came! You came!" bouncing in excitement.

Bose laughed and hugged her again, "Of course I came. I couldn't stay away from you for so long."

"Yaaaaaayyy! Mummy I told you Auwty Bose wee come."

Oma nodded at Bose, "Yup she totally did."

"Angel, sweetheart. I have told you several times not to run off like that again, what if you had hurt yourself?"

Angel looked down feeling remorseful, "Sowy daddy."

"Oh come on Frank don't make the girl feel bad for being happy." Bose chided.

Frank sighed, and stroked her head affectionately, "It's alright Angel but please don't run off like that again okay? You know daddy loves you so much."

Angel bounced her head in excitement, "Angel loves you sooo much."

"Sir, your car is here." The lady Frank was speaking to spoke.

"Thank you Maria, is everything ready?"

"Yes sir, just as you have instructed."

"Good. You're the best."

Oma and Bose exchanged confused looks, "Wait you're leaving?" Oma asked Frank.

"No," he said as he gently pulled her close and placed a kiss on her temple. "We are leaving"

"Leaving? Like now?"

Frank dramatically rolled his eyes, "No like next year. Come on I have something special planned already."

Oma looked at Bose still holding Angel, "Without Angel?"

Bose laughed and said, "Did you not hear the man? He has something special planned, madam abeg follow your husband and don't you worry about this little bundle of happiness. I'll take care of her."

"So, shall we?"

She took his hand and smiled, "Let's go."

As they drove Oma spoke up. "Have I officially thanked you for believing in me and deciding to help me?"

Frank rolled his eyes, "Yes honey, you have. Like a thousand time."

Oma laughed "Well I don't think I will ever stop appreciating you" she reached out and strokes his chin.

"You and our little Angel are the best things that ever happened to me."

Frank caught her hand and kissed her palms and then her knuckles, "I should be thanking you Oma. If you hadn't made that delivery we wouldn't have met ad I wouldn't have come up with the idea to stay close to you. So really I should be saying thank you."

Oma sighed in satisfaction, "I love you"

"I love you more Oma till the very end."
