Chapter 15- Distraction (Phase One)

= Day 7/7

[3rd PoV]

[Time Skip to Cassiopeia's castle]

They're here in the castle of Cassiopeia. After fighting off some guards and other personnel, They found a room on the top of the building. And in it, there's the Key. Suddenly, Brandon runs for it, making some of them to follow him. Capricorn noticed something....

"Guys! There's a trap!" He shouted.

"What?" Cathryn replied.

Bam! They are trapped inside a magic box, which makes it smaller from time to time. Those who remain are the Zodiac, The World 8, and the Nordics.

"You dumbass, why did you run in the first place?" Lovino reprimanded him.

"How should I know there would be a trap?" He defended.

There, Cassiopeia walks in the room. While the rest are hiding, they listen to the conversation.

Cassiopeia then walks at the victims...

"Aww, you fell into my trap." She taunted.

"What do you want?" Kenneth asked.

"Simple, to not let you guys get the Key."

"What will you do with it?"

"You know, destroy the Key."

"Idiot! Do you want to destroy your own world?"

"I can make a new one. My own world. After this world is destroyed, I'll use its World Seed to make it."

"You'll never get away with this."

"Ha! As if. Anyway, you are just wasting my time."

She then makes the box even smaller, and sits on her throne.

[In the trap]

"Ahhh! It hurts!!" Cathryn complained.

"Shut up! It would hurt more when you complain!" Lovino replied harshly.

"Just don't move, and we'll be fine." Lily reminded them.

Without listening, Gilbert shifts his position a bit. Since the box is too small and crowded, everyone howled in pain.

"Gilbert, you dumbass! Why did you move?" Lovino reprimanded him.

"What? My position was uncomfortable."

"You're making it worse!" Riley objected.

The noise became unbearable for Cassiopeia. So, she shut the mouths of the victims and make the box even smaller.

"Muffle more or you're dead."

[Outside the room]

"Okay, how are we suppose to do this?" Arthur asked.

"There's a secret passage at the back of Cassiopeia. From Sagittarius to Aries, they will go there. While the rest of us are staying here." Libra explained.

"Then, Virgo will try to shapeshift into something." He continued.

"Into what?" She asked.

"Into one of the guards. Don't make it obvious. You are our only hope to distract."

"Okey-Dokey!" She replied wirh a salute.

There, Virgo turns into a guard and walk in to the room. During the distraction, Sagittarius's group sneakily go in the secret passage, trying to get access on the passage.

"Lukas and Arthur, try freeing them." Libra commanded.

"And how are we suppose to do that?" Lukas asked.

"The box is made out of magic. So, putting that here, you can destroy it with magic. Additionally, the corners are the weakspots."

"Hmm...easy task." Arthur replied.

The two go in the room. As they face the victims inside, they muffled. Loudly.

"Shhh.....do you want us to get caught?" Arthur whispered.

They shake heads as a response.

"Good." He replied.

They successfully set their comrades free from the box. They run outside as quickly as possible.

"What's next?" Taurus asked.
