It was a rather cold day, Not cold enough to turn on the heating but not warm enough that the sun would be blaring through the tall windows in the living room of the mansion. Everything had been replaced since what happened with the Tony and the Metal man. There was no longer broken glass around the floor or spilled alcohol catching fire, there was no more damage; Everything was back to normal. Tony thought I was safe now I wasn't near him. He thought no harm could get to me now I was in England. Knowing I was safe calmed him, well ... calmed him enough that he could carry on drinking whenever. Tony always had a thing for alcohol and parties, usually those two went together however this time there was no party. He was sat there, on the large, maroon couch in the middle of his living room with drinks all over the coffee table and Pepper by his side.
Pepper was usually always sober, she would drink at parties but very rarely have enough drinks to become dunk anywhere but a party. Tony on the other hand was far more then just a little tipsy, most defiantly drunk, functioning , but drunk. He had no reason to be scared, no reason to be ready for a fight at this moment in time, or at least he didn't think so.
Hydra, of course, was still on to me. They had been watching over Stark Tower and The mansion to the best the can whilst The Winter Soldier was down. The wanted me, they knew I would be a benefit for their future. Having several human weapons in their eyes was far more fun then just one. There was no proof that I had ever left the tower but Tony and Pepper went to back to the Mansion and haven't been back since, Hydra had no reason to believe I was anywhere but the mansion. The Winter Soldiers wounds had healed, they had upped his training and pushed him further then they had before. For some reason they felt like today was the perfect day for this. Maybe it was how vulnerable tony would have been or maybe they had this day set for his second attempt, what ever it was they had sent him back. Hydra had drove The Winter Soldier from where they were temporarily keeping him somewhere in New York, along with several of their best agents. They had also assigned agents in New York mostly agents who were undercover in shield onto this case.
The Winter Soldier had managed to entire the mansion without setting off Jarvis. Hydra had most likely spent the past few months having into Jarvis as he was quite the complicated technology. Hydra had access to all the cameras, so they made sure to keep a close eye on The Winter soldier whilst he entered the building alone. Any other agents were sitting outside in the three black vans or were staying notified in S.H.E.I.L.D Headquarters to make sure if Fury was involved he would struggle to get information or even struggle to arrive at the tower. The Winter Soldier made sure to stay away from the main living room as that's where the most noise was coming from. He had searched my old room, hoping to see me in there doing homework or something but instead he found it empty. Every room he entered was empty and showed no signs of me in the building. Even the cameras could not pick up on a small child in the building. Hydra had assumed that I was just hiding from them, that Tony and Pepper knew they had entered the building.
