Ashlyn was sitting on her bed when her phone rang. She checked the number and it was the number for the prison.

"Hello, this is a collect call from Orleans Parish Prison for inmate Justin Anthony. Say yes or press 1 if you would like to accept this call." The operator said through the phone making Ashlyn press one.

"Hey pops, wassup?" Ashlyn asked with smile on her face.

Justin was like a father figure to Ashlyn since they met. He tried his best to talk to her whenever he was on the phone with Malikhi. They got along really well and they joked around with each other a lot.

"Hey bighead, Khi around you?" Justin asked, hoping answer was no.

"Nah, why? What yo old ass done did now?" Ashlyn joked, making them both laugh.

"I'm getting out, like next week and I wanted to surprise him. You and the rest of the gang gotta help me surprise him. And that include my beybeh Sani." Justin said, making Ashlyn nod her head.

"He gon be so happy, lord know he love his pops." Ashlyn smiled, remembering the smile that comes to Malikhi's face when he talks to his dad.

"I know, I want yall to make a big dinner and have him leave the house so when he come back I'm there." Justin said as Ashlyn wrote down things on her notes app.

After they were done planning things, they had just enough time to say goodbye before the call cut off. Ashlyn went to shower and get dressed before going downstairs to see all the girls sitting there.

"Y'all come to my room cause I gotta tell y'all something." Ash said making all of of them get up and follow her to her room.

Ash closed and locked the door so Malikhi's couldn't just bust in and hear the plan. She started to explain the plan and they all nodded. They created a group chat with everyone except Malikhi and started to give everyone a job.

Kash's job was to pick Justin up from the prison, Princess's job was to go get the food, Ash and Ja'Sanei's jobs were to go get decorations, the boys had to get Malikhi out of the house for about 4 hours and Justin's job was to just look presentable.

"We all got that? We doin this on the 23rd, be ready please." Ash said and they all nodded. "Princess, you can do my hair?" She asked and Princess nodded.

"Yea I can, what you want?" Princess asked, looking down at her nails that needed to be redone. "You don't gotta pay me if you do my nails, these shits look horrible." She continued, scratching her arm.

"I want some box braids, how you want your nails? I need some more acrylic but then I can do em." Ashlyn said, ordering the stuff she needed from Amazon.

"I'll send you a picture after I find out exactly what I want, wash yo hair the day before you want me to do it and I can blow it out and braid it." Princess said before they heard the front door open.

"Da! You left me, who said you could have a life!" Ja'Sanei ran out of the room yelling. She ran down the stairs and jumped on him.

"I did lil mama, actin like I don't take you everywhere wit me." Malikhi laughed and rolled his eyes.
