-𝙺𝚎𝚟𝚘 𝙼𝚞𝚗𝚎𝚢, 𝙻𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚂𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝙳𝚊𝚢

It was finally Thanksgiving and I was ready to eat. Ash, Kash and Princess threw down I the kitchen so I just knew the food was good. We always ate outside on Thanksgiving so after they said the food was done we grabbed our plates and walked out to the front porch. We prayed over our food and dug in.

After a while I noticed the same car kept riding past real slow before it let down the window and started letting out shots. My daddy, Sev, Say, Trell, Chuck and Pops started to shoot back while the girls tried to get us inside.

I heard bug scream and I ran in front of him, feeling a sharp, burning pain in multiple parts of my body. After a while the shots stopped and I heard my daddy scream when he saw me.

"Beybeh, stay up fa me okay? You gon be okay, you gon be okay. Trell get Jam and put him in the car!" He yelled, cupping my face.

"Mamas, keep yo eyes open aight. Talk to Jam, stay awake for me please." Trell begged, tears running down his face.

"Hey bug, you gon be okay. We gon be okay and we can go get Waffle House, just stay up." Jam pleaded through his sobs.

"Imma be okay bug, we gon be okay." I said back while also crying.

After about five more minutes we pulled up at the hospital and they jumped out of the car and rushed into the hospital.

I felt my eyes getting heavy and after a while I just couldn't keep them open.

𝙾𝚖𝚗𝚒𝚜𝚌𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝙿𝙾𝚅

Ja'Sanei, Jaylen (Jam), Ayden (Say), and Kashmere were all rushed to the back with multiple bullet wounds.

Jaylen was hit in his arm and shoulder. Kashmere was hit in her arm, back and was grazed on her side. Ayden was hit in his neck, chest and leg. Ja'Sanei however, was hit the worst with wounds in her neck, thigh and at least 6 shots to her chest and abdomen.

Jaylen was the first one out of surgery, being as though he had the least wounds. He couldn't stop crying at the fact that his bestfriend, his bug, his heart was hurt because he didn't move fast enough.

Malikhi was sitting with Ashlyn in his lap just letting tears run down his face. Ja'Sanei was the light of his life. Besides Ashlyn, she's the reason that he felt he had something to live for. He doesn't know what he would do if he couldn't hear her laugh, see her smile, hug her. That little girl was his everything. Then his cousin that grew to be his brother was also fighting for his life. It was too much for him handle.

Ashlyn just was out of it, she had no tears left to cry at this point of her life. If she lost Ja'Sanei, she felt as if she couldn't go on. Ja'Sanei was her baby, the apple in her eye, her other half. Ja'Sanei gave her life purpose, Ashlyn wouldn't know what she would do without Malikhi and Ja'Sanei.
