*ALARM NOISE*

       I wake up frightened by the sound of my alarm and immediately turning it off. I look at the time and I was already late as hell for school. Really ever since the pandemic ended I cared less about school then when it was even actively going on. I started the shower to let the water get warm and I proceeded to my closet to grab some grey sweats and a hoodie. I scroll on tiktok for a while procrastinating on getting ready until I heard a creek on the steps. "FUCK" I whispered as I ran into the shower. It was already 7:20 and I already knew my ass was grass as soon as she found out I was home. My mom wants me to take school more seriously but I honestly don't feel it's for me. She gave me a mini lecture when I got out  and changed but honestly I expected way worse so I wasn't trippin about it. I threw on some crocs, my bonnet, and grabbed my bag then left out the door.

          I checked in to school and went to my 3rd period class. I sit down and get my chrome book out and start my work until I interrupted by my sick eating teacher. "Ms. Miller! You finally made it to my class for once." I looked at her with an irritated face being I really don't have to be here right now. I decided not to comment back since I was already tired and don't have time to argue with rotting flesh.
My Bestfriend aka my music manager comes into class and I can't even explain how much better my day got from just that. For some reason she's a lot more excited than usual.. "Saharí you have to see this artist I found I think you guys should collab ASAP"

*She plays his song*

"TURN THE MUSIC OFF NOW." Ugh I can't stand this hating ass teacher I'm already irritated and tired and she find some more shit to say. "You're not teaching shit anyways so why the fuck does it matter? Everyone else is talking and shit and you're mad about a song?" The class got quiet but I already knew the drill so I grabbed my shit and headed to the office. I noticed my Bestfriend followed me to the office so I figured after we get signed out we can just head to her place my mom can't find out I'm leaving school. We go into the principal's office and get the same talk everyone gets. He's pretty chill he just told us to come back with a better attitude next week. We got our slips and her mom comes to pick us up. We started to drive towards her house and I put my headphones in and listened to some more of that Faygo guys music. I went into stalker mode and I noticed he was from Atlanta too. I followed his ig then turned my phone off to vibe to my playlist. We pulled up to a Dunkin' Donuts and her mom gets me my favorite drink and a donut. One thing about my Bestfriend's mom I can always come to her about my problems and she'll be there better than my own mom.

We get to Kora's house (my bestfriend) and she starts looking at her phone mad hard with a face of disbelief. "Girl what the fuck wrong with you?" I said to her. "OH MY GOD GIRLLL THE ARTIST I TOLD YOU ABOUT JUST TRANSFERRED TO OUR FUCKING SCHOOOOL!" I started to panic a little because not gonna lie he was really attractive... I stayed silent while I noticed Kora was typing violently. She got up and jumped over to me and showed me a snap from her sister.

I am completely lost for words right now but I'm ready to try and work with him his music is fye and my careers comes before simping.  It was only a good couple of seconds of me brainstorming until I see a hand waving in my face. "Saharí, SAHARÍ are you coming or not?" My eyes got big "Huh? What? whereee?" Kora looks me dead in my soul and repeats herself. "I asked if we we're still going to the mall because obviously that kick back is tonight." Fuck I forgot all about that party and I don't have any money on me right now but I hate asking for stuff from her. "Kora I don't have any money for the mall sorry" she makes a straight face as if I had angered her even more. "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL ILL PAY FOR YOUR LIL OUTFITS COME ON" I reach in my bad and grab some clothes for the mall and before you ask... Yes, yes I planned on not going home.

      We get to the mall and look around for some cute outfits. We went to journeys and I found some shoes and then we walked over to forever21. The way me and Kora shops for clothes is by having a fashion show in the changing rooms honestly. We both grabbed like 4 outfits each and went into the changing rooms, I forgot to grab a bathing suit to match with my pants so I told Kora I'll be back. I went towards the bathing suits right next to the men's section and I noticed a group of boys. I hate being seen by people my age it literally sucks. "Yo Saharí" came from one of the boys, I didn't wanna turn around but I didn't wanna be rude. I turned around and it was Devron. He talked about what happened at school with me and Mrs.Moglio and we both laughed. I asked who were all the boys he was he said "Oh those are the boys from Lakeside that lost to us last year. We're all pretty close but they just transferred here to Monroe. Come with me real quick" He grabbed my hand and dragged me over there and started to point each one out. " Okay this is Anth. This one is Tay. This one is Rayquan. This one is Andre, and dumb ass Damaury... Yk Damaury." I made eye contact with Andre for a little and we both looked away fast. "Oh shit it's Coi Leray" Rayquan said. They all looked at me with a confused face and I started to get nervous and shake a little. "Yo Andre yall two deffff gotta make a bop together." Andre asked me to listen to one of my songs and I typed my SoundCloud into his phone. "SAHARÍ" I heard coming from the changing rooms. I realized I left Kora that whole time I grabbed the swimsuit and waved bye and ran back to the changing rooms. Me and Kora had a our little show and picked out our outfits. "I met that artist SoFaygo I guess his name is Andre and he's really close with Dev & Damaury." Kora was excited I had met him but I could tell she gets a little triggered everytime I bring Devron up.... Anyways we head to her house to get ready for the party.
