Class the next day was extremely quiet. Aizawa had came back to class, although he was completely covered in bandages. Bakugo hadn't spoken to me since our fight. I was still riding the high of winning against one of the toughest guys in our class. At lunch, I slid into the seat by Mina. Bakugo sitting across from me, only offered his usual scowl before returning to his meal. Kirishima sat down next to Bakugo and shot me a toothy smile. "Hey Kiri, I'm struggling in math, are you understanding any of it?" I ask quietly.
"Hell no, dude. I'm struggling myself." his smile falling from his face. I sigh, picking at the soba sitting in front of me.
"It's my worst subject. I can't make sense of the equations the way Ectoplasm is showing us." I rub my hands over my eyes, groaning. I had my notes spread out by my lunch. The paper was smudged from my constant erasing and rewriting of the problems. Mina leans over reviewing my notes.
"Oh, honey. I can't make any sense of your notes either." she says, picking up the paper. Front and back across the paper was full of where I had erased and rewritten everything multiple times. I sigh again, laying my head on the table. I hear Bakugo push back from his seat abruptly.
"Meet me in my dorm after school, Dumbass. Shit's easy." he growls, walking away from the table. We all look up at him at the same time. Did he really just offer to help me? He doesn't help anyone. He throws the rest of his lunch away without looking back at us. Mina and Kirishima exchange a glance before looking back at me. Mina hands my notes back.
"What?" I ask.
"Oh, nothing." Mina says, as her and Kirishima both turn back to their lunches. I take another big bite of my soba. My mind wondering back to Bakugo. He's never offered to help anyone in any of the other classes.
Walking back from lunch, I stop by Aizawa's classroom to check on him. He's sitting at his desk, a heavily bandaged hand grading papers. When I walk in, I catch a tired eye glancing up at me.
"How are you feeling, Aizawa-Sensei?" I ask quietly. He sets his pen down and looks up at me.
"I'm alright. Ready to get these off." He holds up one of his hands. The bandages covered every part of his visible body aside him one eye and his mouth. "I think Recovery Girl went a little overboard." he says with a soft chuckle. I pull a seat next to his desk and sit down.
" I just wanted to say thank you again for everything you're doing for me. And for protecting us at the USJ." I set my hands on the desk.
"As a hero course teacher, it's my job to protect my students. As for helping you, you're welcome. I look forward to you becoming a hero." his words sincere.
"After my quirk manifested, I never had anyone treat me this way. Not even my parents when they were still around. I just wanted to make sure you knew how grateful I am." I say before standing up. If this conversation continued for too much longer, I knew I'd cry. He gives me a soft smile.
"You remind me a lot of myself at your age. I'm glad to be your mentor through all of this." he says as I leave. I turn back to him, returning his smile with my own, before heading to my next class.

I hesitate as I stand in front of Bakugo's dorm. I finally raise my hand to knock but his loud voice echoes from inside.
"THE DOOR'S OPEN DUMBASS." I sigh and walk in. He was seated cross-legged on the floor, working on his own homework. I gently set my bag down and sit across from him, his eyes never leaving his own work. I couldn't help but to look him over as he wrote in his notes. His tank top fitting him loosely over a pair of navy pajama bottoms. He looked up at me through his blonde hair, his eyes narrowing when they meet mine.
