Today is a pretty nice day I actually was able to wake up without hearing somebody yell thief and the talk of the town is that the king and the princess will be coming to give food out to the poor for what others were calling us I overhead a few others talk about taking out the king and keeping the princess hostage and I couldn't allow that to happen so I went to the entrance of the castle the guard pointed their spears at me" hey I come in peace I have information for the king that might save his life" the guards just laughed and told me I'm just a boy who wants to frighten the king. So I tried to run past them but they both grabbed me and threw me back and told me if I try that again they would kill me I got up slowly trying to regain my focus and I ran to a family friends shop as fast as I could I then saw that the entire street was crowded by people so I took the best way I knew the high ground. I was running rooftop to rooftop trying to hurry because the little event was about to start when I landed in front of the store I scared Ellie who was the owner of the shop" holy shit Kiran do you always have to scare me I'm going to have a heart attack one of the days because of you" I laughed and walked over to my father sword" I need dads sword there will be an attempt to kill the king today and I need to stop them, my father would have done the same". Ellie walked over and place her hand on my shoulder"Kiran protecting the king is something for the knights to do not you, you are just some stranger what if his knights try to hurt you" I turned around and looked at her" they won't I have been training on the streets for awhile on sword training I still have dads book I have been constantly training they won't be able to hurt me but I really need to go" I tried to leave but she grabbed my arm and kissed my forehead" you are just as stubborn as your father was Kiran but please don't die I can't handle a loss of another friend". I nodded and ran out of her store, I know she doesn't want me to do anything stupid but dad has been dead for three years the only reason I don't stay with her is that she reminds me of dad too much but I will protect the king, I place the sword on my back and ran across the rooftops and when I saw the king and princess I stayed on the roof to watch over them like a hawk looking at its food. I saw the little army the created come towards the king and the knights tried to fight them off but some were sneaking through as they were getting closer I jumped off the roof and landed on top of one of them and rolled off in front of the king and pulled my sword out and I heard the king whisper sir marcel, they started coming at me and I was deflecting their attack and wounding them I didn't want to kill any one of them. I didn't pay attention and I saw one with a makeshift bow and arrow he was aiming at the princess so I got in the way and got hit in the gut and that is when I decided I would have to kill them just to protect the king, as they were running up I was deflecting their attacks and killing them but I started to get overran and they started rushing harder and an arrow flew into my shoulder and my knee and fell to one knee and I blocked attacks until one came and knocked my sword out of my hand and shoved his sword into my side, I cried out in pain and I headbutted him and then I heard all kinds of footsteps approaching and I saw it was the calvary.

My vision was getting blurry and the king came up and started to hold my wounds while the princess just looked at me with concern she pulled out the arrows and and the sword then she put her hands on my chest and a blue glow surrounded my body and I could feel all my wounds healing themselves as my vision was returning to normal I just saw the princesses face and thought wow she really is beautiful as they say. she then fell to the side unconscious and I sat up a little and checked up on her and the king just put his hand on my shoulder" she is fine this is what happens when she uses to much of her magic you must have been hurt pretty bad and I feel like I know you from somewhere may I know the name of the man who saved me and my daughter" I kneeled down and bowed my head" my name is Kiran son of marcel one of your royal knight who fell in battle". the king got up and looked at one of his knights and whispered in the knights ear and that knight got a few others to get the princess and take her back to the castle then the king looked back at me" hand me that sword young man" I hesitated a bit but then I handed him my sword with it in its sheath and bowed my head again I thought he was going to kill me when I heard the sword come out of its sheath but then I felt the blade on both of my shoulders and I looked up and the king was smiling" rise sir kiran you are now a knight in my kingdom but i got an important job for you there is always people trying to use my daughter for her power can I have your promise that you will keep her safe even if it means your life". I stood up and looked at the king in the eyes" you have my word my liege I will protect your daughter no matter the odds and could I ask for something my liege if that is okay with you" the king nodded his head and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath" can I wear my fathers armor it has been repair since that tragic day before I ran away from my destiny the first time I want to wear his armor to show respect for him" the king put his hand on my shoulder" you ran away from your destiny because you felt like you would have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders like your father did but you were afraid that is okay kiran but your request our fathers armor will be granted but lets get you inside the castle so you can settle in".
