"Rinnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Went my alarm.
"Blimey! Rubbish alarm!" said a groggily and cranky Abayomi. It was Saturday. 2 days before school. I yawned and took my glasses off my nightstand. I got up and took my phone next to me. I checked through my social media. I first checked Instagram, Snapchat, then Twitter. Abayomi says I should download an app called "TikTok", and I might do it soon. I put my phone back on my nightstand, took my glasses off, and fell asleep.
"Mika, Mika, Mika!!!!" Abayomi whisper - shouted.
"WhAtttTttttTtttTTtTtt!!?!?!?!??!?!" I groaned. I get cranky when I'm woken up.
"You've got to wake up! And don't be acting like a plonker(idiot), it's rude. You're literally acting like BooBoo the Fool(stupid, silly, foolish, dumb, dense)!"
I woke up and to my surprise, Abayomi was already dressed. She told me to start calling clothes "Drip". I said, "Aba, that drip you chose is fire!!"
"I know! I got it on sale and it's the bee's knees(awesome)," Abayomi replied while tilting her head like if she was in a photoshoot. "C'mon now, let me pick out your clothes!" When I had dressed up I looked beautiful. I had a white crop top with jeans. The look came with a yellow mini purse and black Nike shoes.
"I love it!" I said, hugging my bestie.
"I know." Abayomi patted my back.
I checked my phone, "11: 24" it said. "So, I was thinking about going shopping today at America's Best?" Abayomi questioned.
"Sure, I'm up for it," I replied. We walked down the stairs, and my golden doodle, Brody, and beagle, Daisy, came to greet Abayomi and me. We both petted and kissed them. I asked my mom to drop us off at the mall, and she agreed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Be back in 1 - 2 hours," she said handing me my debit card "Don't waste." We nodded our heads 'Yes' and headed into the mall.
As we entered the mall, we saw all the different departments and stores. We saw J.C. Penney, Target, Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, DSW, Old Navy, Sears, and all the others. Abayomi and I were walking down the mall hallways trying to find a store. We set our eyes on J.C. Penney. As we walked into the store, we saw a lot of new, limited edition clothes. Too bad we couldn't get them. They were crazy expensive and my mom only put $300 on my debit card.
As Abayomi and I were walking down the mall hallways, we decided to stop at the café to eat some lunch. "Do you want to go to Burger King or Subway?" I asked.
"Let's get Subway, I have a craving for a sandwich." Abayomi answered.
As we walked to the cashier, I felt like I recognized them. "Excuse me, can we have a Pizza Sub Melt and..."
"What do you want?" I whispered to Abayomi.
"A Meatball Marinara." Abayomi whispered back.
"Ok," I replied.
"Ok, so we will have a Pizza Sub melt, and a Meatball Marinara," I told the cashier.
"Your total will be $12.85." Said a voice I recognized.
"Wait, it couldn't be!" I thought to myself. "SIMONE IS THAT YOU!" I yelled.
