CHAPTER 4: HIMIKO.

     The bell rang, signaling that class was over. You grabbed all of your books, sliding them in your large backpack and sighing as you picked it up. As you stepped out of the classroom, a person ran up to you. 

"Y/N!" Deku yelled as he handed you a mysterious object. "You forgot your book." 

You looked down, viewing the book he held in his hands. You were a bit confused, not able to remember putting it in your backpack. A small grin still appeared on your face, realizing what the book was. 

Being young kids at the time, you and Toga would draw random things in the book when you became bored. Even some pictures containing the both of you were scattered in it. 

 You haven't looked through it in a while.

 "Ah, thanks Izuku." You looked at him, a smile still present on your face. A brief and awkward silence occurred between the two of you as there was nothing to talk about. You stared at your skirt, trying to figure out what to say to him.

"So, uh," Scratching your head nervously, you let out an awkward laugh. He noticed the awkwardness between you two, a small blush forming on his face.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow!" Deku grinned while heading into the hallway. You waved at him as he slowly faded; a sigh of relief left your lips.

You pulled your phone out of your pocket, seeing a few texts from your mom and Momo Yaoyorozu. After the night you both met, you became very close. You were grateful to have a close friend in this huge school.

Many hours passed. The moon was bright that night, shining through the window; projecting on your wood floor. You were in your dorm, laying comfortably in your bed as you sighed. Picking up your phone, you pressed the power button to see a blinding 2:47 AM on the lock screen. You groaned, becoming bored as you weren't able to fall asleep. 

An idea came to your head. You hopped out of bed, grabbing your bag and pulling the book out of it. You decided to spend a few hours scrolling through it. It's not like you had anything else to do.

3:20 AM.

3:58 AM.

4:05 AM.

You yawned as you began to fall asleep. Your head became heavy as it slowly slipped out of your hand. Reading the book became unexpectedly time consuming and you hadn't even realized how fast time flew by. Stretching, you were about to close the book until you noticed something you had never noticed before.

Located on the last page, you had failed to notice a strange note was written on it. A long one.

Dear Y/N,

I hope you find this or at least notice it soon. Ah, how much I have missed you. You know, ever since I've moved I haven't been able to take my mind off of you. I can't believe you're in U.A now, huh? I remember when we both wanted to go to that school.

Y/N, I will meet you again soon. Remember my promise I had told you? Probably not, but I do. I definitely do. It has been stuck in my mind for 10 years. You have been on my mind for the last 10 years.

Unfortunately, the dream we both plannned for the two of us never happened. It won't ever happen. Luckily, we have the perfect plan for you.

Himiko Toga

This had to be fake, right?

But, who would do such a messed up thing?

No one knew about her. No one knew you both were so close.

This was a handwritten letter from Toga.

And what's worse - it was recent.

How'd she even get this in the school?

Your eyes widened as you were about to break down in tears. Your heartbeat began to increase as you stared at the book in horror. This was such a bad idea. Why did you even look in this book in the first place? 

Would she put the school and all the students in harm? Just for you? Honestly, you didn't even know at this point. You just hoped and silently prayed that it was some harmless joke.

You weren't able to sleep that night.

"Miss Y/N, as much as I hate to say," You heard a voice, opening your eyes as you heard your teacher calling your name. "it is sadly against the rules to sleep in my classroom so I would advise you to not fall asleep." Your teacher Aizawa yelled to you, making you gain unnecessary stares across the classroom.

"S-sorry, sir." 

A few hours later, class ended. You hadn't spoken a word that day. Toga ran through your mind every second. You weren't even able to pay attention to your teacher. 

Actually, now that you think about it, this is probably what she wanted.

You sat at your desk, not even realizing the bell has rang. You were staring at your desk, collected in your thousands of thoughts. Suddenly, you felt a few unexpected taps on your shoulder. This was not what you needed right now. You jumped, not expecting the touch. You turned your head, hoping it was not Toga. 

Luckily, it was only Deku.

In his eyes, you looked traumatized. Something was definitely up, and he wanted to figure it out.

"H-hey.. what's up with you?" Izuku questioned, looking into your eyes. "You look freaked out." 

"Nothing's wrong." You said while looking back at your desk. "Why do you ask?"

"N-nevermind." He said with a small blush.

Before you could even reply, a loud boom was heard. As you looked out the window, destruction was the only thing you could see. A small fire was burning up the trees, grass, and all wild life within the fence.

This wasn't normal fire. It was something you've never seen before.

Blue fire.
