*ERES POV*
"Far more murders than thought, the assassin known as goddess of war has not yet been found. She leaves nothing behind except the body and her signature..." My mind trailed of, they still hadn't found out yet. Sent for revenge, used, misunderstood, a psychopath. That's what I was to them. They sent me to kill someone that they had held grudges for. It wasn't fair, but then again, it pays well and is fun. "Hey Idiot!" Quinn yells. My boss, My manager, aka The Big Guy, yes TBG.
"We have a new job for you. 8th floor Manchester hotel, 12th room on the right." My eyes trail forward from Quinn to my stuff laying on the table. "And I get to do the deed anyway I want?" eyeing him as I stand. "Yes, Now here's the plan. " Attheana walked in as she swiped her watch to create a hologram projection around us. "Here's your ID, your a maid for the hotel and you will get a call" she looks at Quinn then points "from him saying, I need some new towels could someone drop by? You will answer this and only this, "Yes, Fresh towels are on the way! Now go and change." I went to my room and threw on the outfit. It was OK, I guess. Nothing much, a red scrub with the words Manchester written on it. Attheana then came in and threw my hair into a bun. "Don't get caught alright?" she said whilst putting her hand on my shoulder.
I stepped out of the dorms and trotted along to HQ, where I would pick up my stuff. Spray paint, daggers, contacts, and Room plans, the usual I guess. "Here you go Eres." Quinn said, handing me my stuff. "Also your rides here." I look at him, eyebrows raised. "You sure I can't drive?" "No, Eres. If you do you'll end up killing 19 pedestrians, 6 drivers, 7 stray animals, and 3 stop signs. " said the guy next us, who was working on his computer. I just role my eyes at him, and walk off.
The car ride was short, about 15 minutes. After I had gotten off I checked in with "my" id, and got to work. Then I got the call. "I need some new towels could someone drop by?" "Yes! Fresh towels are on the way!" I skipped all the way over to room 12 on the 8th floor. Humming the song Atheana had taught me. She sang it to me almost very night, she was my adoptive mother after all. When, I reached door 12, I knocked, "Your towels are here!" I heard a voice from behind the door. "Hmm? I didn't order any new towels. I need a few though." I heard footsteps and the lock clicked. The door opened, and in front of me I saw a man with light blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a tux. "Going somewhere are you?" I asked. "Yes. I am going to the art Gala hosted by Jillian Cameron." he said proudly. I slid my dagger on, and put the towels over it. "Here." I say plainly. He takes the towels off my arm, and smiles, I smile my creepy psychotic smile, and then he sees the dagger.
His eyes widen, and I use my hand to cover his mouth, before he could scream. I felt around his neck while I muffled his childish screaming. Three slits to the throat should be enough. And in a few more seconds, his limp body fell into my arm. I washed my hands, quickly, and called the front desk. In my best acting voice, I had said," I-I found a body, Its a man, a-and he was laying on his bed with the door open. W-When I went in to tell him. He was there. DEAD." I hear whispering and a clattering of feet. They're coming upstairs. I whip out my spray paint, and just like that, I'm gone.
