They say moving on is easy. It's easy to say. It's easy to flush the photos, burn the gifts and tear apart the letters. But is it easy to flush the memories? Is it easy to burn those heartwarming moments? Is it easy to tear apart him or her from our heart? Depends...

"What not to do on a date with your ex?"

He vigorously typed on the phone almost hitting the letters and breaking the screen. He was super nervous. Sitting in his spacious car parked on the side of road, he switched on the AC as it was the level of pollution outside was too much due to the evening rush. The horns were blowing like anything and chatters of people walking by, were disturbing him in the very serious work he was doing, apparently. He turned the black knob with red color lighting around it and the fm channel played with some nonsense advertisement. He waited for the blue line below the search bar on his phone to meet the other end and show him the damn answer! Google instantly popped up with numerous articles as if serving a thali and he rolled his eyes and huffed. Can't Google simply answer the questions without time pass? No. He read the name of the website 'relationship advice'. Seems trustworthy. Let's give it a try. He thought. He clicked the link and tile of the article displayed with red colored hearts and flowers.

"Tips for a good date with ex."

1) Look presentable. Show them what they have lost.

Siddharth made a face. "If she didn't see when I was with her, do you seriously think she will see me now?" He said out and the radio jockey on the radio exclaimed loudly. "Bilkul Nahi!" Siddharth shook his head and changed the channel. A soft music was accompanied by a very heart touching voice and words.

The moment he heard the introduction medley play, nostalgia came running back towards him. The song that played was 'Sajda' by Richa Sharma and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. There was something about that song which no one could explain.

Also, this was the first movie they watched together in the theater...with a bunch of other friends. The movie was awesome and so were the various expressions give by his best friend who was sitting beside him. He smiled at the memory of how she was weeping like anything when Mandira's son died and Mandira blamed Riswan. And near the climax, she was a crying mess! He literally had to hand her his handkerchief to wipe her tears and nose. Shahrukh Khan was her favorite and she would literally drag Siddharth and their group to the cinema hall whenever his movie released. My Name Is Khan was the first one they watched.

And Sajda had a special place in his heart. For the first time when he heard the melody ringing in the cinema hall, he was stunned. The soothing chorus, "Sadjaa...Tera Sajda...Din Raen Karoon, Na Hi Chain Karoon." hit him so hard that his face involuntarily turned to his right and his eyes looked at her face which shined under the faint lights reflected by the huge screen. The various colors changed on the screen, she looked beautiful with each change. He felt like confessing his feelings right then and there but something held him back. She was sitting right beside him enjoying the chemistry between Kajol and the King Khan having no idea he was thinking and how fast his heart was beating. She laughed at the joke and looked at him, called him 'Siddharthhhh'and shook him....but all he heard and saw was Sajda and her. A loud screech of car pulling breaks brought him out of that nostalgia and brushed the thoughts away. But not the smile. Scrolling further, he was again caught up by the article.
