It must have been around ten years since he had last seen him. Him, his first love. It must have been around ten years since he had heard from him.
It wasn't exactly his own fault, or anyone's fault for that matter. His family was moving quite often due to his fathers job, so it was kind of inevitable.
Seonghwa spent all these years of moving without forming any relationships, simply because he knew they wouldn't last. But at that time, him still being a child, he couldn't understand.
He really thought that they would be together forever. They even made a promise. But Seonghwa didn't hold it. He left without a trace, he didn't even have time to speak with him, he didn't get to tell him goodbye.
He still remembered him though, he was unable to forget him. He didn't want to forget him.
Seonghwa was sitting inside a small Coffee Shop, a cup of steaming Coffee was placed in front of him along with a small plate filled with a piece of cake.
He took a sip from his drink, always making sure to not burn himself. The cup warmed his hands, making a content sigh escape his lips.
He was again lost in his thoughts. The image of a certain boy never leaving him. He had woken up this morning, having almost something like a gut feeling. But he brushed that aside.
His fingers touched gently a bracelet on his hand. And not just a random one. The one the boy had given him. Even after all these years, he still wore it. That was the last thing he had of him. And he held on it dearly.
------
Ten years ago (Seonghwa was twelve years old)
Seonghwa walked inside his new school, his mother close behind him. He had just enrolled, and he was not excited about that. This was the third time he and his family had moved places, and that meant schools too. He wasn't having any of that though.
All the way to the principal's office, he had a boring expression on his face, showing his true feelings about this whole situation. But it wasn't like he had any saying in this, so he just followed around.
He could feel stares at the back of his head, probably from the children that were in the corridor. But he didn't pay attention to them, there was no point.
