Spy School Switched Up

Confrontation

 Lea's POV:

"Ivy".

I can't believe it she is alive. After I had heard screaming, I had come over. I followed the noise to one of the first-year hallways. I had seen Ben come running out of his room in his underwear (something I wish I could unsee) and came to case his room.

"How are you alive?"

"Pretty easily since I never died" she responds, as if she had not just arisen from the grave.

"What are you doing in some first year's room?"

She seems uneasy at this question. I am so confused about what is happening I think my brain might implode.

"Listen if you could just not tell anyone you saw me that would be great."

"Why, and why would you let people think you were dead, and why wouldn't you at least tell me. I'm your closest friend."

"It wasn't that easy."

This made me so mad. Life had been horrible for me because of her. She had made me sink into a horrible state where I did not even want to live.

"AHHH, I HATE YOU".

"I'm sorry Lea. An evil organization threatened me. I have been hiding in the dark. They have killed everyone I have come across. Don't let anyone know you saw me. If you died, I could never forgive myself. I came to try to save someone from getting captured. I need to leave now. There is a mole."

"You left me for half a year and all you have to say is sorry!"

I break down into tears. I almost never cry, but if anything, or anyone can make me it's her. I can hear her move toward the window and footsteps coming this way from down the hall. I let her go out the window thinking I am still crying and then jump out after her just as Tina opens the door. I race behind Ivy. I need answers why did she run. Was she safe from evil? Then a thought strikes me. Is she evil? I stop in my tracks. No, no, no, no, no! I cannot let my mind wander there I need to keep hope because that is all I have. I looked up and saw that while I had stopped Ivy had hopped into a black SUV and driven away.
