Chaeyoung POV

As I finished introducing myself to everyone I sit immediately. I'm not really good at this kind of things especially when everybody's attention is in me. After I seated, Dahyun laugh at me because I'm too shy to talk she made jokes about me that made us both laugh.

Actually I just met Dahyun earlier at the cafeteria I was about to buy food because I have not eaten breakfast yet. We are next to each other when ordering our food, she was so talkative and little did we know that we have the same first subject which is History. So we went together and get along immediately. I'm glad I met Dahyun earlier because this subject is hella boring.

As my classmates introduce themselves our professor said "Okay for the last row please introduce yourselves" she said in a calm voice.

I turn my attention at the back row and I was surprise as what I am seeing in front of me. She introduced herself.

"Hello everyone! I'm Myoui Mina nice to meet you all" she said while smiling. She was looking at me.

My eyes widened, a lot our classmates says something like whispering saying "She's so pretty" "I want to be friends with her" "She looks smart and beautiful" a lot of whispers was made. And I hear it all. I can't blame them she is indeed still beautiful.

This is the first time I see Mina again after the incident at the food court. I felt my heart beats like I just finish running. It beats so fast like it wants to go out of my chest. I look at her and she responded with a questionable look, and Mina sits again.

"Do you know her?" Dahyun asks.

"Why did you asked?" I ask Dahyun and she looks at me like I did something wrong.

"The way you look at her, its different. Do you know her?" She ask curiously.

"Yes I know her" I answered her while looking down.

The girls next to Mina continued to introduce themselves. As the last girl finished introducing herself our professor explains everything that we need to know about this subject, like the rules she'll implement and the grading system.

After our professor explains everything she immediately exited and told us that we will have a proper class tomorrow.

Dahyun and I was about to go, to explore this campus but Mina called me.

"Chaeyoung wait" She was getting closer. My heart starts to stop beating for I am very nervous right now. I don't know what to do, I don't know what to tell her or what to ask her.

"Hey there Mina" I said casually. I can see pain in her eyes after I said those words.

"Oh, Hello! Dahyun right?" She asks Dahyun but I can sense something about how she approaches Dahyun.

"Hello! Yes I am Dahyun. You are Mina right? Nice to meet you" Dahyun said politely.

"Yes, nice to meet you" Mina said while smiling at Dahyun.

"So I was wondering if I can talk for Chaeyoung for a while?" She ask Dahyun.

"Oh of course no problem. its okay with me no problem" she answer immediately. "I'll just go to the cafeteria Chaeng, I'll just wait there or text me" Dahyun said. And as I watch Mina's reaction, there is really a different aura she is giving.

"Yes I'll just follow you there after we talk" Dahyun just nodded and she headed towards the cafeteria. As Mina and I was left alone, it makes me very nervous and my hands are sweating.

"It's okay if we talk right?" Mina asked.

"Yea sure" I answered not looking at her.

"Let's go? I know a place here in the campus that not a lot of students go to, we can talk there" As we head towards the place she was saying no one dared to talk again, the atmosphere is getting awkward.

She was walking a head of me while I just follow her. We arrived at the place that she said and it is the school's mini park. We both sit on the vacant bench.

"Chaeyoung" Mina said

"Yes" I answered not looking at her.

"I just want us to talk and I want to ask you a question" I take a glace at her and quickly look away. "Shoot ask me questions" I challenge her.

To be honest I'm still hurt for what she did to me. I was hurt for she just left me with such a shallow reason. I don't really know what to think right now, being in a long distance relationship is not really a big reason for a break up. She didn't even listened to me when I was about to give options so we can make it work. I just don't understand why she did that. It truly hurts.

Mina starts to talk "I just want to ask you why are you here? I thought you'll be in States for college?" She ask curiously.

I look at her and answered "I didn't continue to go to States because my mom changed her mind, she just want my brother and I to be here near her, she realized that she only got me and my brother, so she decided to not let me go to States" I answered and look away.

"So it means you'll be here for good?" She ask and her eyes was full of hope and excitement. Why is she excited?

"Yes I guess so, my mom won't allow me to go to states anymore. She said if I'll just study here she promise to support me whatever I want to pursue" I explain to her. She immediately smiles after I explained everything to her.

Mina looks down and play with her hands "I know I made a big mistake chaeng" She stops talking and looks at me "For letting you go, for making that decision by myself and not listening to your side" Her tears slowly escapes from her eyes.

"I Regret it. I Regret letting you go, I want to explain my side why I reacted that way. Why I decided to breakup with you for the reason that we will be in a long distance relationship. I know you're thinking that its just a shallow reason for a break up, but please let me explain my side?" I look at her and nodded.
