The Being floated through space, disappointed that his previous experiment failed. He sighed and grabbed his cube, ready to move on. Focusing on the cube he scrolled through the options, trying to find a suitable subject for his next experiment.

The Being found one. Expanding the cube he stepped in, the cube began visualizing the subject while a voice described them.

Clone Force 99 was named in remembrance of 99, a malformed maintenance duty clone who died while aiding the defense of Kamino from the Separatist invasion.

Another Star Wars one, hm? The Being thought to himself as he continued listening.

The unit originated as a batch of clones who were born with "desirable" genetic mutations that made them superior soldiers.

These mutations also had the unique effect of altering their appearance and voice greatly from regular clone troopers. Each one of the members acquired certain abilities unique to the team. Clone trooper "Wrecker" had an enhanced muscular form, "Crosshair" had an exceptional vision that allowed him to be a very capable sniper, "Tech" used his enhanced mental aptitude to handle the technical operations, while the leader of the squad, Sergeant "Hunter" had sensory abilities that allowed him to sense electromagnetic signals.

The team nicknamed themselves "The Bad Batch." Each member of the squad had a skull icon on their clone trooper armor, which could be seen as their unofficial logo and helped set the four apart from other clone units.

While a part of the clone army, they earned quite the reputation. They were known to have a 100% success rate. The squad worked together with Marshal Commander CC-2224 "Cody" on certain occasions but did not report to anyone in particular. The group somewhat disdainfully referred to normal troopers as "regs."

The Being shrunk his cube again, till he could pick it up with his fingers.

The Being: At least they won't be killed instantly by Grimm. Let's see where they are.

The Being summoned a portal, as he walked through, he saw a spaceship floating in distance. Its power was online and all the systems were functional. Shifting to his true form, he summoned his pet leviathan.

Tech was currently fidgeting with the controls, Hunter was having his team resting deep in space, they deserved it after a long mission. But Tech just needed to make sure everything was running perfectly to calm himself down.

He saw a blue flash outside, immediately shooting his head up, it would be really bad for Separatists to attack while he was running a diagnostic of the ship.

Tech stared out the viewport, his eyes widening out of shock. He quickly shook the sleeping Hunter, who had passed out in the chair next to him.

Hunter: 'Snork' Huh? What?

Tech: Are you seeing that!

Hunter rubbed his eyes and looked out the viewport groggily, his eyes widened as the tiredness left his body. He stood out of the chair to get a closer look at the sight before his eyes.

Outside the Viewport, a large glowing Jellyfish floated past, Both Tech and Hunter silent as they observed the large, mysterious, beautiful creature. Hunter turned on the intercoms.

Hunter: Wreaker, Crosshair, get to the cockpit now... You do not want to miss this.

Wrecker groaned as he sat up, groaning as he bonked his head as he walked forward, Crosshair walking behind him. They asked Hunter what the problem was, he simply pointed out the viewport, the two other clones stunned as well.
