"I'm not going to that stupid party Max" Will said at his friend. They were in the hall way after school. "Oh come on Will it's Dustin's party it'll be fun" Max said. "Fine" Will agreed knowing Max was going to drag him to the party anyways.

"The party is this weekend I'll text you when I come to pick you up, it's going to be so fun." "Okay ok, I have to go home before my mom starts to get worried and calls Hopper." Max laughed as she waved bye to Will.

"See you tomorrow Byers. "Remember I'm coming to pick you up at your house!" She yelled loud enough for Will to hear. Will waved and yelled back "I'll text you!" As Will was grabbing his bike he saw Troy and his friends.

Troy came closer to him. He tried to get on his bike as fast as he could but Troy ran towards him. Then Troy says with a smirk "where you going ugly fag?" Will got on his bike and just pedaled, Troy and his friends getting on their bikes following behind.

"Hey I asked a question!" Troy now yelling. They finally got close to him And grabbed his shirt pushing him to the ground, " next time I ask you something you better answer you hear me Byers!" He said. Will quickly nodded.

He looked at Will then started to punch him. Then he said " come on guys let's go." as they left Will gulped.  Mike was riding his bike from school when a was saw a kid  sitting on the ground crying. "Shit" he said to himself when he noticed Troy and his friends.

He went over to the kid and saw it was Will Byers the boy who sits next to him in science, he really never talked to him though. "Holy shit Troy!" Mike yelled causing Troy to look back at him. "Well well well  if it isn't Mike Wheeler."

But before he could finish Mike punch's him right in the face making him fall to the ground. Will looked up all beat and bloody and notices Mike. "Oh my god" Mike says.  "Are you okay, here let me help you." He adds.

As he helped Will up Mike asked if he wanted to get cleaned up at his place. Will says yes and they set off to Mike's house. As they go to Mike's, Mike takes Will to his bathroom. "here sit there" Mike states as he puts the toilet seat down.

Will sits on the toilet seat.  As Mike cleaned up Wills elbow, Will asks " why did you help me?"  "Well I saw you and you where crying and looked like you were in danger so I decided to help." Mike said as Will nodded. "Your Mike right?" Will asked.

"Yup Mike Wheeler and your Will?"  " yup that's me sadly."  " well Will maybe I might see you around huh" Mike said with a wink. "Ya I guess" Will added. Well I should be going before my mom freaks out.

"I'll walk you home" Mike says. " I'm sorry but my mom doesn't like people she hasn't met, except Max, El and Lucas. "Oh okay" Mike says.  As Will gets on his bike Mike says "wait Will !" Will turns and looks at him. "Here is my number give me yours." Mike says.

Will rode his bike after exchanging numbers. When he got home his mom wasn't there yet but Jonathan his brother was. He said hello and went to his room to study.

*Bing bing bing*
