Blood streaming down her arms. She was running to the bathroom while blood was dripping on the dirty floor.   All while her parents screamed at her.  She started running down stairs skipping every other step,  at this point her dad had started chasing her.   She ran out the front door, still in her pyjamas, no shoes nor socks.  Running down her street, rocks digging into her feet.

She had been running for around fifteen minutes, until she finally arrived at her friends house, Luna's house.  Luna grabbed Echo by the waist in seeing that her arms were gushing blood. You could see the worried look on Luna's face.

"What happened?" Luna asked worried

Echo went silent

Luna looked at Echo worried and mad at the same time "Were you-"

Echo looked away and nodded

Luna could see tears forming in Echo's eyes and she ran over and hugged her tightly

Echo cupped Luna's jaw and kissed her passionately.  Luna kissed back almost immediately.

They were still kissing when Luna felt Echo's blood dripping onto her, Luna pulled away to go help Echo with her cuts but Echo didn't care about her cuts, she still wanted Luna.  Luna said fine so they kept kissing, sooner or later Luna opened her mouth slightly so that Echo's tongue could slide in.  Echo explored every inch of Luna's mouth with her tongue. But then Echo suddenly pulled away.  Her arms started to sting.  Luna was confused at first until she saw the pain in Echo's eyes.  Luna helped Echo with her wounds.  When her arms where cleaned up and covered. They looked each other in the eyes while music was playing in the background. Drowning out any sounds they made. They stayed like this for almost a half an hour. Luna admired Echo's bright green eyes.  While Echo was zoned out, admiring Luna's beauty.  When they finally snapped out of their little dream.  They decided to just do something fun and relaxing, such as have a picnic, plus it was nice out. It was rarely warm in October in Chicago.

They headed down to the park just down the street, it had a beautiful field of flowers. Echo thought it was beautiful.

"But not as beautiful as Luna." Echo thought to herself.

Luna thought that Echo had forgotten all about her, because from Luna's point of view she couldn't see that Echo was digging through her pockets trying to find something. Echo turned around to see Luna with a look of sadness on her face. Echo was confused thinking she had done something wrong so she put the promise ring she had bought for her back in her pocket.

They had started to set up the picnic when Echo realised she had forgotten the vanilla scented candles she had bought. So she went running back to get them. But she forgot to tell Luna where she was going, so Luna thought that she had just left her. When Echo got back with the candles she placed them down, lit them and went to sit down beside Luna.  Luna was crying, she still thought that Echo had left her and wasn't coming back.  So she didn't expect it to be Echo, so she punched her in the face.  When she realised that it was Echo, she quickly apologised.  But Echo didn't care, she was actually fine with it.  She accepted Luna's apology and moved on.

Luna opened the picnic basket to find a beautiful cake with her name on it, along with two wine glasses. She instantly knew what they were for. She had been talking about it weeks now.

"Do you like it?" Echo asked quietly

"Of course I do!" Luna replied

Luna jumped into Echo's arms, and hugged her tightly.

"Such a cute couple." Isabelle said peeking out of a bush (me)

"Yeah" Alyssa replied (amazingness)
