"i'm afraid you did" he started "the elders want you dead as soon as possible"

i sprung up from my bed opening my eyes. what was that dream? i needed to take a walk but i had this stupid medical gear

i took off my breathing mask and pushed the wires out of my way. gently ripping out the iv in my arm. it hurt

i stood up shakily on the cold floor, i was barefoot.
