"W-what? Kenma's dead?" Kuroo asked sobbing as his dad had just told him the news.

He had put off telling him as he was finally getting sleep. But now Kuroo would get even less sleep.

"I'm sorry. His funeral is in two days. We can attend if you would like." He said trying to comfort his son.

"Please, just leave me alone." Kuroo said sobbing into his arms.

His father nodded and left his room silently.

This whole thing was hard on Kuroo. He had just lost his childhood best friend. His father forgot to mention that if Kenma was dead and your case was connected to his, you would most likely be dead too. Kuroo didn't leave his room for another couple hours. The hours turned into a day. Then it turned into more hours. He finally came out on the day of Kenma's funeral. He was in a black suit, his eyes were puffy from crying, and his nose was stuffed.

His parents waited downstairs for him to leave. The funeral wasn't that much. Kenma's parents crying over their dead son, the Nekoma volleyball team visiting, the burial, and Kuroo placing his favorite game on his grave stone other then flowers. As soon as Kuroo got home he went into his room and started to cry once again.

Oikawa laid in the bed as you laid on his chest. Oikawa played with your hair as you slept. You had to deal with pretending to be his girlfriend even if you didn't want to. You had to gain his trust. Even though you were uncomfortable some times it wasn't bad being kidnapped. Your ankle was healing but it was still mainly broken. Oikawa got a phone call, the contact name read "Iwa-Chan" Iwa-Chan was studying in college, to be a teacher.

"Y/n." Oikawa whispered lightly shaking you.

"Hm?" You replied waking up.

"I gotta take this phone call. You gotta get off." Oikawa said.

You rolled off him and started to sleep again. Oikawa went downstairs and went outside to take the call.

"Hello?" He said picking up the phone.

"Hey Oikawa, how's it going?" He asked. "I'm just checking up on you. How's being a math teacher?" Iwa-Chan laughed.

"Oh I quit." Oikawa replied.

"You what?!" Iwa-Chan shouted through the phone.

"Yea I quit. I'm gonna teach again, just wanted to take a little break." Oikawa chuckled. "I'm not quitting forever."

"Oh thank god." Iwa-Chan sighed through the phone being relived.

Oikawa heard you trying to walk down the stairs inside so he knew that he had to end the call quickly.

"I uh gotta go. I'll talk to you next time Iwa-Chan." Oikawa said before shoving his phone in his pocket.

"No wait-" Iwa-Chan paused for a moment. "Hello?" He asked.

Oikawa hadn't ended the call and just shoved the phone in his pocket.

"Y/n?" Oikawa asked walking back inside.

"Yea?" You replied hopping down the last step on just one foot, your ankle was still healing itself.

"Are you gonna go back to sleep?" He asked while Iwa-Chan was still listening in on the conversation.

"Obviously not. I came down here for a reason." You snapped at him.

"Why have you been in such a bad mood lately?" He asked.
