christmas

au: this is 2 months on from where we left of and dani and jamie are celebrating christmas.

'jamie! jamie wake up its christmas!' dani loudly whispered across where jamie lie. 'morning poppins take it easy' jamie mumbled. she had never been a big fan of christmas. dani however adored it. 'please babe i have so much planned for today!'. jamie groaned but reluctantly pulled out from under the covers.

jamie grabbed a shirt and pulled herself from the bed. she yawned loudly and took a sigh. she could smell something cooking from the other room. it smelled sweet and nice, nothing like her own cooking! '

babe what are you cooking?' jamie called out to dani. dani turned around and smiled. 'pancakes!' replied cheery. 'they smell amazing, hey! at least one of us is good at brews and the other cooking, would be a disaster if we were terrible at both!'. dani smiled at jamie and opened out her arms. jamie embraced dani, as she nuzzeled her head into her shoulder. jamie loved the smell of dani, she always smelled of fresh roses. it comforted jamie to know she was there. 

jamie turned head towards danis and gently kissed her on the lips. dani giggled and kissed her back. 'come on' she said, 'we will have plently of time for that later, i have o much planned for us to do!'. jamie sighed reluctantley as she pulled away from dani. 'fine, but thats a promise poppins and you cant break em'. they both laughed as they turned away. 

dani passed jamie a plate with a pancake on and the bottle of syryp. 'easy jamie do you want any pancake with that syryp!' dani grabbed the bottle from her hand and tutted. jamie laughed playfully. 'i know what ill do with extra syryp' she joked as she smeared it over dani nose. 'jamie!' dani laughed annoyed 'now im all sticky!' she laughed. 'here ill wipe it for you' jamie said grabbing a cloth. she smiled as she cleaned the syryp from danis face. 'i love you poppins' dani smiled back 'ill love you more if you dont get syryp on me next time!' jamie winked at her. 'cant promise anything!'

the day went by beutifully. first dani took jamie to a christmas fair in the town where there was an ice rink, it took some practicing but eventually jamie managed to get her balance! after that they sat on a bench with hot chocolate, not made by dani! and watched as the snow fell. they then went home for a christmas dinner prepared by dani. it was delious, despite there only being two of them, dani had made the perfect ammount. later that day they visited miles, henry and flora. 

'thank you, thank you miss clayton for the new dolls they are perfectly splendid!' flora squealed as she unwrapped danis present of 5 brand new dolls. 'i thought you would like some more seeing as you only have your old ones' dani replied smiling. 'and thank you jamie for the pocket knife it will be quite usefull when flora bothers me!' miles said to jamie. 'oi i didnt by it so you could go slashing up your sister!' jamie laughed. henry looked worried 'you are joking miles arent you?' 'course he is arent you dont want to get me in trouble eh?' jamie said to miles. they all laughed. 

there was a knock at the door. 'that must be owen lets hope it is i have missed him so!" flora exclaimed. 'ill get it!' dani said. she walked over to the hatch and lifted it open. 'owen!' she said wrapping her arms round him. 'ah if it isnt my favourite american! not with a fire stick i see, glad im not going to be attacked!' owen laughed. 'you say that evrytime she answers the door mate is this an ongoing thing now?' jamie laughed. 'yes it most certanily is!' owen laughed and turned to miles and flora. 'merry christmas you little gremlins!' he said mocking jamies accent. 'oi, owen watch it mate i gave this one a knife for christmas may have to use it myself!' miles laughed at jamie, though henry looked concerned again. 'its for wood miles remember, not actual people'. 'yes uncle henry!' miles said. 

they all laughed and chatted all eveing untill the little ones were asleep. dani helped tuck them into bed before kissing them goodnight.

the rest of the evening was filled with drinking, drinkng and more drinking. dani and jamie were absolutely hammered by the end of the night. 'well i think its time we take off poppins' slurred jamie. 'best get a taxi though' dani nodded and giggled. 'bye then, thank you for a lovely christmas' she stumbled over the coffee table and flopped onto owen to hug him goodbye. 'jamie you may want to take care of this one shes hammered as can be' owen laughed. henry reached in and hugged jamie, 'drive safe.. oh wait no ride safe or whatever your doing!' 'wow henry your pretty done yourself' said jamie. they all laughed as dani and jamie grabbed their jackets and waved goodbye.

in the taxi the tension was rising. the fact that they could not kiss angered dani. she didnt want to be to open that they were a lesbian couple in front of a strange taxi driver. jamie was not so bothered though. she kept teasing dani by stroaking her hand along her thigh then pulling back. 'jamie!' dani wisphered, groaning a little 'we are in a cab stop!' jamie smiled and said under her breath 'just a few more blocks'

when they arrived back at their flat they practiclly fell up stairs. the minute the door was closed jamies hand were in danis hair and they began kissing. jamie backed dani up against the wall and the smiled as they collided with it. dani felt jamies lips latch onto her neck, hitting her spot like magic. 'jamie' dani groaned. jamie wrapped danis legs around her hips and carried her towards their room. she lay dani down on their bed. 'i want you poppins' she said.

 she climbed on top of dani and began to unbutton her shirt. dani moaned as jamie left soft kisses down her front and across her chest. her hand ventured lower and lower. 

dani pulled jamie closer to her body, removing any room that they had left. the night seemed to last forever. what a christmas. spent and drunk.
