Why?
'Why?' is such a wonderful word, it can be used by a child to ask about the bugs or why the sun rises, why my friends play with rocks. It can also be used by children to ask why did mommy leave us or why does daddy not play with me.
Why did you break my heart, is often used by teens and adults, when a partner/ significant other fails them. Why, its self can be used by both sides for example:
"The sun rises and sets every day, my bunny"
"Why, Mommy?"
OR
"I'm sorry. I can't explain. Goodbye"
"WHY?!"
(this 2nd part might make it into a story, :))
