30 minutes had passed and the boarding process had started. the three were in boarding group b.
"they just called group b, come on," isa said to the other two.
they showed their tickets and were instructed to get onto the plane. as they got closer to their seats their stomachs started to ache even more, the closer they got to arriving, the more fearful they became.
molly had made an effort to lighten the mood "i cant tell if my stomach hurts from anxiety or a bowel movement," she said chuckling.
"me either," isa replied.
"you guys are so weird," kerrie scoffed.
the three all began to laugh together, receiving weird looks from other passengers. but they didn't care nor did they notice. kerrie began to look around and look at the other passengers.
she gasped, "oh my god!"
"what?" the other two asked in unison.
"that's rain!" kerrie yelled.
rain was sitting right across from them, but didn't hear his ex calling his name since he was listening to suicideboys at full volume. he soon became aware pf the three staring at him.
he took his airpods out, "is there a problem?" rain almost shouted.
"you don't recognize me?" kerrie replied.
"no?" rain said confused.
"i'm your ex! it's eden!" kerrie answered.
"oh my god, are you also going to la for the roleplay reunion or whatever?" rain asked.
"yeah we are," replied isa.
"well it was nice talking to you, but i have some unfinished business with suicideboys," rain said lowly.
the three tried to hold in their laugh, but they couldn't. but rain didn't even notice, he was too busy in his glory listening to his favorite songs.
"i can't believe you ever dated a suicideboys fan," molly said smirking.
"and you dated someone who would go inactive on you!" kerrie spat.
"touché," molly replied.
the three were bored out of their minds an hour into the flight. they didn't know if they could handle 5 more hours without dying of boredom. molly did some sudoku puzzles to entertain herself, isa made some plot twist edits, and kerrie played animal crossing.
isa chuckled to herself while making a plot twist edit, they were her specialty.
"what is the plot twist?" molly asked.
isa chuckled, "your old roleplay friends to me and kerrie," she replied.
"are you close to finishing?" molly said next.
"yeah pretty close," said isa.
after what felt like forever, the plane had finally landed. they looked out the window, squinting as the sun shined on them.
"if people start clapping i might ask the pilot to turn around," eden said chuckling.
the other two laughed at that. they let out a breath of relief once they realized no one clapped. people started to make their way down the aisle, exiting the plane. the three shortly followed the people exiting.
"my butt hurts," molly blurted.
"same here," the other two replied.
they finally left the airport, and were greeted by humidity outside. the air felt sticky, the sun was out and shined on the three. they absorbed the hot air hitting them.
"where are we staying?" asked isa.
"some hotel the anonymous user booked," said molly.
"hopefully it's nice!" answered kerrie.
the three had gotten an uber to take them to the hotel. they examined the hotel as they approached it.
"not too bad," kerrie yelled.
"now we have to decide who is going to check us in cause it's not me," molly said.
"i guess i will," isa said rolling her eyes.
they got their suitcases out of the trunk of the uber and made their way to the lobby. isa next walked up to the front desk.
"room for morris!" isa said.
"alright here's your keys. would you like someone to bring your luggage up for you?" the front desk lady asked.
"no we are okay thank you!" isa replied.
the lady waved, "have a nice day!" she said.
"you too!" the three replied.
the three made their way to the room. molly started to inspect under the mattress immediately after stepping in the room.
"what the hell are you doing?" kerrie asked.
"checking for bedbugs?" molly said in a tone that made it sound like it was obvious.
"oh my god," isa replied laughing.
"better safe than sorry. the anonymous user could hate us and purposely could have booked us a bad hotel!" molly yelled.
"it could be anyone! even someone like bexley!" said molly shortly after.
"or ollie!" replied isa.
the three laughed at that. they decided to just relax and doordash food, they didn't know what was to come. so they decided they should spend time relaxing because they didn't know if the rest of the trip would be relaxing. the rest of the trip could be full of fighting or just incredibly stressful. they hadn't seen on heard from people from roleplay in years. only molly kept in touch with people from roleplay. she still talked to charlie and kota.
they had ordered in n out since kerrie and isa had never tried it, and they really wanted to.
