Bella the mermaid (twilight fanfic)

Chapter 3

Bella's pov

A few minutes after I knocked on the door it opened and I saw a man standing there and he said hi may I help you and I said yes um I'm looking for Jacob a boy called Embry told me to ask for him and the man said ok sure I'm Sam come in and I said thank you and I walked into the house and Sam closed the front door and walked away from the door and through the house until we got to a living room and when we got there I saw 7 more people in the room.

So then Sam said hey guys we have a visitor and she is looking for you Jacob and then everyone turned and looked at me and then 1 of the boys walked over to me and said hi I'm Jacob how can I help you and I said ok well my name is Bella Sertori and um I'm in trouble and I need the help of you and your pack and Jacob said as the whole room gasped and acting stupid what do you mean by pack.

Then I said look don't act like you don't know I know your all wolves and I know you the alpha and Jacob said how how do you know and I said I know because I'm a mermaid and when I was a child my parents told me and my sister about vampires, wolves and witches and Jacob said look kid I don't know what your on about so you need to leave.

So I said no I can't leave if I leave my sister will find me and bring me back down to my home in the sea with our pod and I don't want to live in the sea I want to be free and Sam said look lady I think it's time for you to leave and I said ok fine you want proof that I'm not lying I'll give you proof and so help me god if you don't help me I'll make you because I am in deep shit if my sister and our pod finds me so I walked over to the table.

Then I grabbed the glass of water lying there and I took a breath and I lifted my arm up and I poured the water over my arm and then a few minutes later I felt my tail come out and I fell to the floor and my tail started flapping again and everyone in the room just stared at the tail and I said alright look you know I'm telling the truth now so can you help me and Jacob said alright fine we know you really are a mermaid now but what can we do to stop you sister we are just wolves we can't go into water.

So I said yeah I know that but you can stop their human sides from getting me and Sam said is that possible I mean don't mermaid have water powers and I said yes we do but they don't work the fruit few months on land and Jacob said ok fine we will help you first of all Bella the others around the room are called and he pointed to them all Jared, Paul, Seth, Leah, Brady and Collin.

Then I said he nice to meet you and then I felt myself go dry as I was still in my mermaid form and I needed water and so I said could someone please get me water or something and Jacob said yeah I can do better than that Jared bring her up to the bathtub and Jared said sure Jake and Jared walked over to me and lifted me off of the floor and brought me upstairs into the bathroom and set me into the tub as Jacob filled it up to the top.

So then all the wolves walked into the bathroom including Embry and Quil who where back from the reservation line and when the both of them saw me they gasped and then Leah said so Bella how long usually does it take for you to change back and I said if I only get a drip of water it only takes about 5 minutes but if it's the sea or a bath or even a cup of water or the water tap it takes about 30 minutes but usually I can't stay out of water that long as I can go dry and then my tail will go numb.

Then when that happens it's only a matter of time before I die and Seth said so can you show us a power and I said yeah sure and so then I raised my hand from the bath and then water followed my hand and so then I made a heart with the water and it stay a heart for a few seconds and then it faded away and then Paul said what is mermaid powers used for.

So I said well it can be used for killing or summoning things made from water to kill or it can be used as peaceful things thing I use it for and then Brady said that's so cool so how do you expect to change back and I said well I'm going to let a hair dryer do at for me now can someone lift me out please and Quil said sure and he came over to the bath and lifted me out and I said put me on the floor and give me the hair dryer and Quil said sure and he set me on the floor.

Then Collin handed me the hair dryer and he turned it on and then I started drying my tail and I didn't stop drying until my tail disappeared and when it did the pack all gasped and I laughed and stood up and then Jacob said ok so now that we know what happens when Bella gets water spilled on her no one is allowed any water around her and Sam said is there any other things that we need to know Bella.

So I said yeah um whenever I am a mermaid my sister and our pod can track me and Jared said ok then no one is definitely not allowed any water near Bella and I smiled and said wait does that mean you will help me and Jacob said lets go downstairs and talk about what is going to be happening while you here ok.

Then I said yes ok thank you Jacob and Jacob said sure sure and he walked out of the room and his pack followed him and I said thank god I don't have to run anymore and then I ran out of the bathroom and ran downstairs to the living room where the pack was.
