Ch. 1 Slush

"Ok go get your slush i'll wait in the car" Kate said to me but I was already out of the car. I go inside the convenience store and start getting my pipeline punch slush.

"Oh, I'll also get some candy" I say to myself. I grab some candy and start to get my cash out to pay struggling to grab my card I I drop my candy while walking.

"Oh I am so sorry, so sorry!" I say picking up the candy then I look up.
"Are you Karl Jacobs?" I say nervously.
"Uh yeah" He says helping me pick up the candy.
"Aren't you supposed to be handing out thousands of dollars to people in North Carolina or something and not be in 'Yourcity/town?" I ask.
"Oh I'm just visiting some family" he replies.

"Cool can I get a photo?" I ask awkwardly
"Sure!" He says as I pull out my phone. I take the photo and pay I say bye and head back  to the car. Wow I just met Karl Jacobs. I head back to the car and tell Kate what happened but, she isn't listening she's texting her mom.

"Y/n I have to go home in an hour remember? My cousins are here." She tells me while I buckle up. We head back to the house and I tell her again what happened and she listens this time.
"Wow! Can I see the photo?" She asks me as her mom rings her phone and tells her that she has to go home soon for supper. So she drives home.

Karl POV

"Ok mom i'll go pay for gas!" I say to mom,
"No it's fine karl!" She tries to say before i shut the car door.
I walk in and bump into someone.  Wow she's really.

I stand there stunned for a few seconds then start to pick up the candy that she dropped.
"Oh I am so sorry, so sorry!" She says to me. "Are you Karl Jacobs?"
"Uh yea?" I say to her
We end up getting a photo and then she pays i stand behind her waiting in line but before i can even think to ask for her numbers she leaves and says bye.
