My hands met the warm blade and I latched onto the handle, getting ready to plunge it into her heart.
Suddenly, as if I was pulled away from my own body, thrown into a different universe I began to feel faint.
The world began spinning and colors danced before my eyes. It was almost as if I had been drugged...
My body began to feel numb; like dead weights.
Slowly I felt my eyes starting to droop and I fell off the bed onto the cold, hard floor.
Wtf? I thought until I felt my own thoughts dissolve...
The ice-cold water hit my face, and I woke up with a start, my eyes opening only to see an expensive-looking room.
I looked to my right where I saw Esmeralda tied to the chair when I realized I was too. A man poured the water on her as well.
She woke with a start looking around for danger.
We made eye contact and closed our mouths, trying to remain stoic.
The water dripped down my makeup, mascara running down, my lipstick smeared, my once curly hair sopping wet and my beautiful dress ruined.
I then realized I couldn't feel my dagger nor my hair in its half up half down hairstyle that held another thin dagger.
They took our weapons. God damn it!
My father taught us what to do in these situations. I tried to feel what type of tie/rope bound my hands and ankles.
Zip-tie.
I wasn't getting out of those anytime soon unless I broke my thumb.
Emara POV
Lilith thought she could outsmart me and Leo. Ha.
"They are in the room, waiting, Yes?" Leo asked the man who just came out of the room.
"Yes, sir" He replied. Leo excused the man, leaving us alone.
"I told you we shouldn't underestimate them," I told Leo looking at his arm.
The drugs didn't affect Esmeralda as quickly, which meant she had taken them before. Weird.
She put up a fight with Leo and shot his arm, but thankfully missed and only nicked it because she was woozy from the drugs.
His arm was bandaged tightly but it was still bad that he got hurt. I was always told I was the sensitive one in the family, but really I just cared about people and had a consciousness unline other people.... (cough, cough *Leo* cough cough)
This had been our plan all along, to drug the girls, kidnap them, then kill them.
What we hadn't expected was the fact that they were really fckn smart.
We walked into the room, ready to question them a bit and you get the rest.
Once we walked in, we saw the man's dead body on the floor, bleeding out and the chairs empty.
Leonardo POV
How?!
I quickly called my main guard to shut down the whole mansion, so that if they were still here, they wouldn't get out.
